Chapter 72

Pushing open the door, (y/n) steps out into the parking lot of the building.

He sees the vehicle in which Octavia and Stolas wait for him, and begins to walk towards it.

But he then hears the door open behind him, catching his attention.

Turning his head around, he sees Loona there.

"Loona?" He says, curious about her following him.

"Hey (y/n)....." She replies.

"What's up?" The boy askes.

"I just wanted to say that...... Thanks...... For saving my ass back there......" She answers, avoiding eyecontact and rubbing her arm.

"Oh um..... Yeah sure, no problem....." He responds.

"Also, you almost forgot this" She stated, holding the grimoire out to the boy.

"Oh, the grimoire" he commented, receiving the book from the hellhound.

"They took care of it after you fainted, that's what they told me at least" Loona says.

"That's cool....." (Y/n) replies, and holds on to the book.

A quiet moment passed between them.

Loona would then take a step forward towards the boy, but stop herself, hesitating to do whatever it is she wanted to.

(Y/n) glanced away, and a quiet moment between the two passes.

"Okay well, I'ma get going then....." He says.

"Yeah yeah, sure, and uh...... Get well
(y/n)" Loona replies.

"Thanks....." The boy responds, smiling softly to the hellhound before turning his back on her and continuing to walk towards the vehicle.

Loona reaches a paw towards the boy, and pulls it back.

Looking down at the floor, she whines.

And finally walks back into the building.

As for (y/n), he approaches the vehicle and the driver gets out, opening the door for him. 

He then enters it and sits next to Octavia.

"Hey guys," he greets the royal demons, before the driver closes the door and goes back to the driver's seat.

The driver then starts the vehicle and drives them out of the parking lot, heading towards Stolas's mansion.

"So tell me, what happened up there? We saw a ship up above, and then two people crashed into the apartment, do you know them?" Stolas asked.

"Yeah, seemed pretty intense" Octavia added.

"I mean, if you don't count the crash, then nothing that bad happened..... anyways, one of those guys was a client, and the other was the dude Blitzo and the others were hunting down" (y/n) answered.

"Ooooh, alright then" Stolas replied nodding, looking out his window.

A moment after and (y/n)'s stomach would growl.

Stolas chuckled and turned his head to Octavia and (y/n).

"Are you younglings hungry? Would you like something on the way home? Food's on me" He happily asked.

"Sure....." Octavia answered, scrolling through her phone.

"Yeah, I actually would like something to eat, heh heh....." (Y/n) joined, awkwardly smiling.

"Great! Fast food it is....." Stolas responded, and they would continue on their ride home, enjoying the drive.
