It had been 8 years since he was reborn in his 68th life and honestly it was tiring... But he hadn't crashed on Shi Qingxuan yet so that was noticable progress?

In this life he was born as the only son of the He family who were well known for their brands and restaurants and etc (he didn't really care to know) but after he turned 6 his parents had sent him to live with his grandmother in a totally other state where he lived happily? Because he wasn't pressured with the type of friends he had to choose or the burden of being an heir to their company (yet) like his previous lives.

In his 41st life he had to take over a major company at the age of 12 so he had to study about succeeding his company from when he was 4! Obnoxious anyways leading a life with no Shi Qingxuan interaction (yet) and a lot of yummy food his grandmother makes everyday was indeed wonderful.

"Xuan your friend has come to meet you it's little Cheng he wants you to meet his new friend" his granmothers voice bought him out of his thoughts.
Oh for God's sake!
"I am busy and am completing homework tell him I will meet him in the park tomorrow" he yelled back as he rushed to sit on his desk.
"Now, now He Xuan you hurt your friend" A very sarcastic voice came from the doorway as it faked sniffling to add to the effect.
He Xuan turned to find Hua Cheng with his grandmother and a another boy (most probably the friend he wanted him to see)
"You boys catch up I will bring some cookies!" He Xuan's grandma said as she closed the door after ushering the two boys in.

Hua Cheng took the liberty to sit on He Xuan's bed as the other boy just stood next to the door looking nervously at Hua Cheng hogging He Xuan's bed.
"It's fine Lian come and have a seat this is He Xuan my friend since let me see some time"
He Xuan wasn't even suprised anymore with the fact that Hua Cheng was gonna be the bain of his existence and found Xie Lian already in some years they will be hard to find separately.
"Nice to meet you He Xuan I am so sorry to just barg in like that but Hua--"
"It is fine it's nice to meet you please sit Hua Cheng has always been like this so I am used to it"
"Hey! Whatever what's yours is mine and what's mine is mine didn't we agree on that 2 yrs ago?!"
"In your dreams" He Xuan muttered as he made his way to his bed and sat at the foot of his bed and inquired Xie Lian about which school he was attending.
"Oh so your homeschooled like Hua Cheng aswell? School is fun you can meet new people and make plenty of friends!"

Watching Xie Lian speak so wistfully made He Xuan envy his freedom like him Hua Cheng was also going to be the heir of a company in the near future and they would never get the freedom to go out and make friends with anyone. But Xie Lian had that freedom which made his heart get filled with envy, afterall Hua Cheng and Xie Lian always ended up together happily ever after but it wasn't the same for He Xuan. The moment he would meet Shi Qingxuan the doomsday clock would start clicking to the day he would lose him. After sometime the two of them left with Hua Cheng telling him that he will visit again.

It had been a long day indeed, he had to stop thinking about Shi Qingxuan so he left his house to go take a walk around his neighborhood. As he walked he found a whole new place bordering his neighborhood so he took it on himself to explore, as he watched the scenery which was green (obviously) his mood became worser so he made his way to the near by store, it had some comics displayed outside which caught his eyes as he went too check it out he found himself quickly invested in one of the comics they had on display and didn't notice a boy approaching him.

"Oh that comic is pretty interesting isn't it? Even my little brother who often isn't interested in comics reads them"
He looked up to find himself facing a boy who looked older then him with black hair and pinkish eyes? That was a rarity he thought to himself and turned his attention back to the book.
"Um... That's rude?"
Annoying.
He Xuan looked up again to which the boy stretched out his hand
"I am Pei Ming and you are?"
Wow! Just the person I wanted to meet.
But... If Pei Ming is here in his previous life Pei Ming always stuck around Shi Wudu like a leech so ofcourse in this life to Shi Wudu won't be far away and his chances of meeting Shi Qingxuan!
"Hello? Earth to um.. who were you again?"
"Nothing" He Xuan said as he quickly dismissed himself and made a gateway for his house and making a mental note to never explore new neighborhoods.
