~Shi Qingxuan~

5 years later :-

Shi Qingxuan woke up with a start due to his repeating dreams. The same dream where he was with this other man named Ming Yi, (who seemed to have a twin sister? Who looked like him and also was named Ming Yi?) Who he seemed to be equally close with.

Every time he woke up after seeing this dream he always had a feeling of longing in him. The dreams always had Ming Yi in them but the background always seemed to change from present day to ancient China? Weird...

As long as he remembered, these dreams started coming to him when he turned 12 one year ago and is still going on strongly.

Shi Qingxuan looked at the time dazed it was already 10:35 am! His tutor would have come 2 and a half hour ago! But as he hurried to freshen up he realised that he was on his vacations... So he slowed his pace and took his time to get started for the day.

As he made his way downstairs he could hear his mother and brother talking to each other in hushed voices. Curiosity got the better o him so he tried to listen as much as he could.

"I talked to your father about this....seems to be stubborn"

"But putting him there till I finish my highschool?" Shi Wudu seemed to say in a high tone "this is too much! Who will take care of him?"

"You father said that Pei Xiu will help him for the next 2 years" His mother seemed to say softly

"But..."

"It will be fine Wudu, I'll try talking to your father again. You go and wake up Qingxuan and tell him that you 2 will be visiting the Pei residence with Pei Ming and we'll tell him about your father's plan later..."

Shi Wudu didn't seem to say anything but he made his way towards the stairs where Shi Qingxuan seemed to be rooted on.

"Qingxuan?" Shi Wudu said looking horrified as he spotted Shi Qingxuan looking at him blankly.

"I didn't mean to listen but u needn't explain gege" Shi Qingxuan said with a slight laugh and tried to get past his brother.

"Qingxuan wait-" Shi Wudu said catching his brothers hand "I'll tell you but you must listen calmly" Shi Wudu said as he lead his brother to the kitchen.

After setting down Shi Qingxuan's breakfast Shi Wudu started slowly "Yesterday father had a talk with mom about your highschool and he decided that you must attend your highschool back at Pei Ming's place, Pei Xiu has applied there as well"

Shi Wudu paused looking at his brother but after noting his silence he did not press for an answer "It will be only for 2 years only" Shi Wudu emphasized only trying to make it look like it were merely 2 months.

After a long awkward silence in which Shi Qingxuan finished his breakfast he got up and announced that he was leaving.

"Say something Qingxuan!" Shi Wudu said holding his brothers hand

"It is fine ge it's always been like this.. I was excited to join the same highschool as you and show you my friends and show you how happy and reliable I can be and walk back home with you talking about our day but that isn't possible is it? We can't defy father's words afterall"

Saying that Shi Qingxuan shook off Shi Wudu's hand and walked out of the kitchen leaving him in silence.
