He Xuan felt lost and nervous.

As he stood there in front of his father, the distance between them only separated my a large table. His father's cold eyes surveyed him and finally set his cigar down.

"I wonder why you keep the Wang kid around" his father finally parted his lips.

"....he is useful at times" He Xuan replies with the slightest hesitance with his answer.

His father definitely caught the hesitation.

"Don't tell me you-"

"Of Course Not Father!" He Xuan cried out palming his forehead.

"Then that's wonderful. Do you know why I called you here today?"

"I have no clue"

"Well.. have you heard of the Yue family?"

He Xuan felt a pit in his stomach.

"Yes, didn't the Yue family face financial issues and then go bankrupt earlier this month?"

"Yes, yes them, do you know who helped them before the went bankrupt?"

"The Shi family?" He Xuan replied with caution

"Yes the Shi family mainly the Pei family but I did some digging because no family supported by the Shi family would go bankrupt against their will" He Xuan's father now replied his eyes faintly sparkling.

"So your telling me the Shi family intentionally let the Yue family go bankrupt????" He Xuan fake gasped.

"Yes they did, the only son of the Yue family Yue Yanzi had a pretty bad relationship with the second son of the Shi family. When we thought that old snake did not pay attention to his second child we were mistaken..... His brother adores him more then his father does" He Xuan's father continued now standing in front of He Xuan.

"And what does that have to do with me?" He Xuan asked though he already knew what his father expected of him.

"Get closer to Shi Qingxuan, weren't you already his friend when you were younger? It should be easy don't you think?"

He Xuan did not reply but his father didn't pay any mind to him and continued on.

"He will be very useful, afterall all that grudge I have held against that old snake it will be easier to bring him down then I had imagined, don't get emotionally attached to him. When the time comes you will have to dispose him and then I don't want to hear you whinning."

"What did your old man say?" Hua Cheng asked his time filled with cheer.

"Nothing much" He Xuan replied sounding detached.

"Your expression doesn't say so" Hua Cheng replied his voice still filled with cheer.

After much hesitation He Xuan relayed what has happened 5 hours ago to Hua Cheng with much pain. Hua Cheng stayed silent for some time but then spoke.

"This would have been easier if you didn't like him you know"

"I don't like him." He Xuan replied with finality earning a snort from Hua Cheng.

"Then I don't see the problem, woo him like you did with Wang though he looks like he is already wooed enough and do you usual, aren't you good at disguising you emotions?" Hua Cheng said now walking away.

He Xuan remained still but then had the greatest urge to punch Hua Cheng. The later had always known how to get under his skin. It had already been a long day.... And his day couldn't get more worser could it?
