"So... Your father prefers you stay here for 2 years..." Xie Lian said softly
"Yes" Shi Qingxuan sighed he didn't want to tell Xie Lian but he still did say it to him because he couldn't keep anything from Xie Lian.

"Enough with that now it is making the mood soggy, you told me about your plans with friends over there" Shi Qingxuan said changing the topic

"Ah.. yes! I want you to meet them so bad!! Hua Cheng would come if u call him now but I bet he is hanging out with one of his friends so I hate to interrupt"

"Is that so? If how much I have heard I bet he would love to be interrupted?" Shi Qingxuan said eyeing at his now flushed faced friend.

"Stop it anyways should I ask my dad if I could stay back with you-"

"Oh no! You mustn't you go there and get comfy i'll be with you before you know it"

With that they walked on the streets bikering about things that happened in the time they were apart and time flew by fast and it was almost time to return home.

"Tommorow I will be going out with Pei Xiu I will call you once my admission process is done" Shi Qingxuan said catching Xie Lian's hand with his head bowed.

"I would love to tag along but I guess your brother wouldn't want that don't fret Qingxuan I am always here for you" Xie Lian said cupping Shi Qingxuan's face in his hands.

After telling farewell they went their separate ways leaving Shi Qingxuan stuck with his thoughts alone.

As he almost reached home he saw two boys about his age walking across him one who looked carefree with his hands folded behind his head and bickering the others earlier off while the other looked rather grim.

Suddenly the one who looked rather carefree spotted him looking at him and looked at him rather coldly making him feel rather vulnerable the other boy with him looked at him aswell and Shi Qingxuan recognised him as the boy he saw previously at the store with his brother but this time the boy didn't seem to run away.

Shi Qingxuan looked away not wanting to look like a creep but the boys cold stare seemed to peirce his back. Thankfully he ran back home and prayed that he won't see them again. But luck wasn't in his side.

After some days when he went to meet Xie Lian again Xie Lian had told him that he was going to introduce him to some of his new friends and he met the two boys again.

This time that boy who Xie Lian now called Hua Cheng didn't glare at him but smiled but he couldn't make out if it was genuine and the other boy introduced himself as He Xuan.

Shi Qingxuan quickly took a liking to He Xuan and attempted to get close to him but the later seemed to keep some distance.

After some time He Xuan announced that he was departing and Shi Qingxuan figured that it would be increasingly awkward to stay behind so he also bid farewell and departed along with He Xuan.

Shi Qingxuan tried his almost best to make conversation but only go a "hmm" and silence as a reply which made him want to pry open He Xuan's shell.

"Though once you go to the capital I will be joining your highschool after some time can I get you number?"

"Ah...I don't have my phone with me right now--"

"That's fine! I can give you mine!" Shi Qingxuan wouldn't take no for an answer but he got a feeling that He Xuan won't make the effort to save his contact.

"I don't have a pen with me though" Shi Qingxuan said feeling helpless

"It is alright I will take it once we meet on a later date" He Xuan said with a straight face.

Shi Qingxuan pouted but didn't say anything. They soon went on their seprate paths leaving Shi Qingxuan actually feeling excited after a long time
