Shi Qingxuan wasn't surprised but the later date that He Xuan mentioned never came.

He has tried time and again to hang out near hsi neighborhood or ask Xie Lian bout his whereabouts but to his disappointment he could never catch a hold of He Xuan again.

He had even considered talking to the tall, cold, I'm to busy for you but not for gege, Hua Cheng but he quickly dismissed the idea.

"Shi Qingxuan don't shake your legs while you eat" Shi Wudu's voice bought him back from his thoughts. He was currently having dinner in the Pei residence with his brother and the two Pei brothers.

"Shi Qingxuan from where do you learn these habits huh" Pei Ming asked eyeing Shi Qingxuan with a smirk on his face.

"Atleast they aren't as bad as yours" Shi Qingxuan said almost sounding sarcastic

"Last time I checked I am a pretty good example"

"Oh yeah like how you gotta always date a girl and then get slapped by her at the end of the week makes me think you are a masochist" Shi Qingxuan said not holding back making Pei Xiu choke on his noodles.

"Qingxuan!" Shi Wudu said warningly

Pei Ming glared at Shi Qingxuan while he didn't hesitate to glare back.

After a very awkward meal Shi Wudu took Shi Qingxuan to his room nagging him on the way making Shi Qingxuan almost want to roll his eyes but he knew better.

After Shi Wudu left him alone Pei Xiu entered Shi Qingxuan's room quietly.

"What is it Pei Xiu?'' Shi Qingxuan asked as he turned to him now sitting on his bed. He patted the space next to him motioning him to sit down.

"Your really did shoot back gege rather fastly before" Pei Xiu said as he sat next to Shi Qingxuan.

"Someone should put him in his place and I don't even understand why my brother needs to hang around him at least Ling Wen jiejie is better" Shi Qingxuan said sounding exasperated.

Pei Xiu chuckled and soon silence settled in the room.

"Then what did you come for?" Shi Qingxuan asked now propping his head on his hand.

"Um... Don't laugh but I guess I like this person and I have been pursuing them for some time but I feel they take me as a brother-"

"Stop! Brother? I guess you should loss hope there"

"No no it's what I think but I'm not sure"

"Ah then it's better if you ask them? It will settle your heart you know what I mean?"

"But we have been friends for so long I don't want to break that by bringing my emotions in the middle I am far more scared to loss them" Pei Xiu said dropping his head in his hands.

"Wow I understand that... It's fine is this one of that..what do you call it? Unrequited love scenario?" Shi Qingxuan asked patting Pei Xiu's back.

Pei Xiu let out a huge sigh and looked like he wanted the earth to eat him up whole.

"I think so..." Pei Xiu said with a small voice.

"Will I meet them when we go for highschool?" Shi Qingxuan asked now curious.

"Yes..."

"Wonderful that's it! I can help you if you want I won't be obvious I swear" Shi Qingxuan quickly added seeing Pei Xiu was about to protest "I am the best wingman around" he ended it pointing at himself rather proudly.

After spending considerable time with Xie Lian and Hua Cheng he had understood how to read the mood and when to leave and when to enter.

"Let's see" Pei Xiu said getting up "We will see in 2 weeks"

"Ah yes two weeks..." Shi Qingxuan said his tone sounding rather disappointed

He had just found something to intrest him and yes only some time left. As he went to bed he made up his mind that he would get in contact with He Xuan no matter the price.
