After the encounter with Mei Nianqing, He Xuan's mind wandered to Jun Wu and the rest of the heavenly officials and then finally his new decision to embrace his love for Shi Qingxuan.

No. He couldn't think about what they would do in the future the future could wait but he still couldn't remove his mind out of the best cafes to visit with his boyfriend. Dating is going to be hard then parent introduction-

"Earth to He Xuan!" Hua Cheng's voice thankfully brought him back to reality.
"I called you like 15 times bro"
"Sorry"

They were currently strolling the quiet town at 11.00 pm (they weren't allowed outside at this time [curfew] but Hua Cheng convinced him to sneak out).
"Wanna get snacks?" Hua Cheng asked pointing at the only shop open in their neighborhood
"Sure" He Xuan obliged trying to get his mind out of his future dating trials
He Xuan just told Hua Cheng to get 3 of everything he gets 2 for him and 1 for the later to which Hua Cheng surprisingly agreed without an argument or deal or contract or bribe.

As Hua Cheng went on his merry adventure of 'get snacks for a night out ' He Xuan strolled outside the store taking in the silent Breeze. Soon his time of peace was interrupted by muffling noices. The more he tried to ignore it the louder it got so he went to check it out.

At the back of the store was an alley way for trash cans, just next to it stood a taller slightly muscular boy almost towering over a shorter boy with long hair-
"Shi Qingxuan?"

Shi Qingxuan quickly turned to face him his eyes filled with terror but as soon is it met He Xuan's it lit up
"He Xuan!"
He Xuan couldn't wrap his mind around how Shi Wudu would let his precious brother stroll out alone at night with no escort.
"Who is he?" The boy towering over him asked grabbing Shi Qingxuan's hand and trying to pull him closer.

He Xuan marched towards the boy, took his hand off Shi Qingxuan with no effort and pulled Shi Qingxuan towards himself and tried to go to the front of the store when that boy caught Shi Qingxuan again
"Who the heck are you?" He asked trying to look intimidating
"None of your concern and someone who has Qingxuan's concent" He said cooly and took Shi Qingxuan away to where Hua Cheng stood.

"Where the heck where you bruh? And from where did he spawn?"
Shi Qingxuan hadn't spoken a single word sice his name in the aelly way.
"Reasons did you get what I wanted?" He Xuan asked looking at Hua Cheng pensively
"Yeah but to be deserted like my fucking dad deserted me" Hua Cheng told eyeing the pair curiously
"Funny" He Xuan mumbled and thereafter split their supplies 1:2 ofc and parted ways cancelling their further plans.

After that He Xuan led Shi Qingxuan towards his house (He Xuan's) and Shi Qingxuan didn't protest.
"Why are you out so late" he asked stlast breaking the silence
"Fight." Shi Qingxuan mumbled softly

"With you brother I presume"
"Hmm"

"Won't he be worried?"
"Hmm"

"Shouldn't you be going home?"
"Hmm"

"Should I take you home?"
"No?"

"Why?"
"I told them that I'm having a sleepover at Xie Lian's"

Wow a whole sentence! He Xuan could sence a faint sence of deja vu they had switched conversation roles.

"Wanna hang out at my place?" He Xuan didn't know where that came from but he was already standing before his house so he had no choice but he hopped Shi Qingxuan agreed to it.
"Sure" it was as short as that but it gave He Xuan lasting happiness.
