~Shi Qingxuan~

"Bye Honey I will miss you so much!" Mrs Pei hugged Shi Qingxuan peppering him with kisses while she shoved her own nephew away.

Shi Wudu and Mrs Pei took turns hugging Shi Qingxuan who stood awkwardly hugging them back and at last boarded his flight with Pei Xiu and Ban Yu (Pei Xiu and Shi Qingxuan had pestered her parents to send her to the capital for the past two years and had succeeded).

He couldn't look at Xie Lian the same way after the incident at the park but their seats were booked next to each other along with Hua Cheng (he was dreading the fact that he would have to stay in the washroom to avoid them being lovey dovey).

Shi Qingxuan had texted He Xuan about his departure but the latter had not seen it. For the last 6 months He Xuan had opted to dry texting, this has driven Qingxuan nuts but he adapted to it wondering what was up with He Xuan. As he sat by his window seat and stared at his and He Xuan messages Xie Lian who sat next to him peered in.

"Oh! He Xuan huh? He will be coming to pick us up at the airport! He had texted Hua Cheng when we were in the airport" Xie Lian said trying to lighten his friend's mood but didn't realise that he had made it worse.
"He texted him at the airport?" Shi Qingxuan asked staring blankly at the distance
"Yes?"
"I texted him in the morning"
"Oh..."

And that ended their conversation enveloping them in awkward silence. What a bright beginning it was for their 4 hour flight.

As Shi Qingxuan had thought Hua Cheng and Xie Lian started being "lovey dovey" next to him with their nicknames which made Shi Qingxuan coo for them in usual circumstances but he could only envy them. Soon Pei Xiu resuced him by telling him that Ban Yu wanted a window seat because she felt suffocated sitting in the middle and Shi Qingxuan was happy to give away his.

After plopping between Pei Xiu and an unknown man sitting by the window Shi Qingxuan started brooding over how He Xuan hadn't texted him.

"Why the long face?" Pei Xiu inquired looking concerned
"Nothing... How's things going with Ban Yu hmm?" Shi Qingxuan quickly changed the subject making Pei Xu flush
"I confessed to her but she told me she doesn't see me in that way 'yet' so there's hope right?"
"Yeah... So you're waiting?"
"Yes I am" Pei Xiu replied with a rather pained smile.

Shi Qingxuan felt wonderful to stretch his legs after the long ass flight but the excitement was shot lived as his eyes quickly turned to scan the crowds for He Xuan.

"They are here!" Xie Lian's voice called out to him and Shi Qingxuan turned round to look (he turned so quick he could have flinged his head off) and saw He Xuan standing near Hua Cheng with the usual stony expression. His hair had grown longer now reaching a little below his chest and was now pulled back in a low pony a few loose strands hanging in the front. His eyes looked sharper and colder and they now looked at him.

He Xuan's eyes softened for some seconds but it was enough to make Shi Qingxuan feel special. As he now walked towards He Xuan he spotted a smaller boy clinging on his right biscep and was now talking to Xie Lian. On Shi Qingxuan's approach they both looked at him the smaller boy offering him a smile.

"This is Shi Qingxuan" Xie Lian said pulling Qingxuan close he will be our new classmate and he is my childhood friend this is who I was talking to you about"

"Oh! Atlast to meet the boy you and A-Xuan are acquainted with is nice!" The boy said finally leaving He Xuan's side.

A-xuan?

"Meet Wang Duji he is an another friend of mine and He Xuan's 6 month boyfriend" Xie Lian whispered the last part in his ears.

Boyfriend??

"Nice to meet you!" The boy now said streching out his hand for a handshake and Shi Qingxuan shook his hand, his gaze all the while glaring at He Xuan
