~Shi Qingxuan~

Shi Qingxuan blankly stared out of the window of his dorm room. Usually he liked the silence in his room as the roommate assigned to him hadn't arrived yet and might come anytime this week, but now he hated that.

He wanted something to distract him and remove his mind from what he was currently feeling.

After the encounter with He Xuan at the showers 2 days ago his dreams had become very lewd... He would wake up sweating and wanting to relieve himself (he was glad his roommate wasn't present).

Instead of the usual sweet/ sad/ angry dreams he usually had with Ming Yi his dreamscape had taken a whole 180° and now all his dreams were about Ming Yi pounding him day in and day out...

It was not that he didn't like it... But the more he thought about his dreams the more Ming Yi resembled He Xuan making a strange emotion take over his heart.

What am I thinking about? Shi Qingxuan mentally slapped himself (he would never hurt his beautiful face). He has a boyfriend but they aren't in good terms.

Hope bloomed in Shi Qingxuan's chest.

Just then his peace was disturbed by an urgent knock.
"Come in-"
"Helloooooooooooooo my cute little munchkin" Xie Lian exclaimed as he rushed to hug the living daylights out of Shi Qingxuan.

(Shi Qingxuan was still sad that Xie Lian had not told him about his relationship with Hua Cheng).

To no one's suprise an overly bored looking Hua Cheng entered obviously annoyed to why Xie Lian wasted a good Sunday on Shi Qingxuan.

Soon after Hua Cheng entered Wang Duji entered the room dragging a awkward looking He Xuan with him.
"Oh my Qingxuan all this room to yourself hmm?" Wang Duji exclaimed as he lay on his roommate-to-be's bed.
"He will be coming any day now" Shi Qingxuan replied trying to not look at He Xuan.

"We came here because we are going on am OUTING!" Xie Lian and Wang Duji exclaimed together their eyes shone with the power of all the stars in the universe.

Shi Qingxuan was soon dragged out of his room by an overly excited ferret and another overly excited raccoon as an obviously annoyed looking Hua Cheng and cold looking He Xuan trailed behind them.

It was 11am when they left. By 3 pm they had practically visited all the cafes in the locality and by 7pm they had visited tons of parks, gardens, etc, etc while Xie Lian and Wang Duji filled him in with the 2yr gossip he had missed.

"Anyways I hope you guys have a great time" Wang Duji said as left for his parents house (he lived with them as they lived close by).
"Let's have dinner out today!" Xie Lian exclaimed "Curfew is at 11 so it's fine we have 4 hours" and with that they were dragged into a cozy looking restaurant.

The place looked normal form the outside but one inside it had a dark academia aesthetic making Shi Qingxuan forget his worries and wanting to camp in the restaurant all his life.

Xie Lian chuckled as Shi Qingxuan started clicking photos of everything and anything.
"I'll go order the food with a-cheng you guys wait here"
"Sure" Shi Qingxuan replied not exactly understanding that he was left behind with He Xuan alone.

After his former excitement died down Shi Qingxuan turned to look at He Xuan who was already looking at him.
"Ah... It's been a long time since we talked didn't we?" Shi Qingxuan tried to make conversation.
"Yes... I'm sorry I couldn't talk to you over the break... I was caught up with some work"

You mean Wang Duji

"It's fine" Shi Qingxuan managed a smile.

After that they talked about studies and random topics till Hua Cheng and Xie Lian returned soon the food arrived and they enjoyed their meal (the food was as good as the aesthetic and the price was low so that was 3 birds with one stone [always trust in Xie Lian's recommendation's 🫡]).
