I had debate practice so I started walking towards the debate club room.
Suddenly Alicia caught up to me.
'Hey Drew.' she said 'Don't call me that.' 'okay Andrew, where you headed?' 'Debate.' 'Right. Sometimes I forget you're a scholar.' 'Very funny.' 'I know I am.' 'You wanna talk to me about something or?' 'Well yeah. Derek's birthday is coming up so we were planning a surprise birthday party.' 'Cool. I'm in.' 'Okay but just so you remember, Maeve will be in too.' 'Sure. Whatever.' 'Alright. Meet us at the cafe on Arrow street after you're done. We'll be there.' 'Okay captain.'
I went up for debate practice and it finished at about 4pm. I packed up my things and headed towards the cafe Alicia told me to meet them at.
I went in and searched for them with my eyes and saw them sitting at a table near the window. I went and sat down. Everyone was there except for Maeve.
Hopefully she won't come. I thought to myself
Yet after like 5 minutes she arrived and sat down next to Rose.
3rd person POV
'Hey guys.' said Maeve smiling
Everyone greeted her except for Andrew. He just looked at her and didn't say anything.
'So what's the plan?' asked Hyde 'So what need to plan for is a cake, venue, snacks, gifts, invitations and decoration.' said Alicia 'Okay, I think it'd be a good idea to distribute the responsibilities to everyone.' said Rose 'Yeah that'll make it easier.' said Aaron 'Okay then that's what we're doing.' said Alicia 'Okay so we have 2 days to complete all of these. We have to get all the supplies possibly by today and tomorrow we can get everything ready at the venue.' said Hyde 'Alright, we got an adventure to go to.' said Aaron and everyone laughed 'So who's doing what?' asked Andrew 'Hyde and I will hunt for invitations and snacks.' said Alicia looking at Hyde and Hyde agreed 'Okay Rose and I'll go for decoration and the gifts.' said Aaron and Rose agreed 'So that leaves Andrew and Maeve for the cake and venue.' said Alicia looking at Maeve and Andrew. 'Im not going with Maeve.' said Andrew 'Oh god, here we go.' said Hyde in an annoyed tone 'Dude come on.' said Aaron 'Like it or not, you're with me. Don't be a total loser for once geez.' said Maeve and Andrew looked like someone had punched him
They all got up and went to their seperate ways.
'So where are we supposed to get the cake?' asked Maeve turning to Andrew 'Bakery.' said Andrew in a duh-tone 'Okay genius.' said Maeve sarcastically 'Theres a bakery right there.' said Andrew pointing to a store at a far left corner.
It was a cute pink bakery and the cakes were absolutely adorable.
'What flavor does he like?' Asked Maeve 'Chocolate.' he replied 'What about this one? It's so cute and big.' said Maeve pointing at a cake 'Okay sure.'

Birthday cake for Derek
They paid for the cake and got out.
'Okay we have to look for a venue now.' said Maeve looking at the time on her phone. 'Where are we supposed to look for a venue?' asked Andrew 'Geez don't give up so fast. I'll search on the web. We should leave this cake somewhere. It's impossible to carry it around everywhere.' Maeve insisted 'Where?' Andrew asked 'My house.' replied Maeve 'I don't have my car with me.' 'Its okay we can walk. It's a short walk from here.'
They walked to Maeve's house and put the cake in the refrigerator.
'Okay so there's a venue on Vander street. It's a 10 minute walk from her.' said Maeve 'Okay.' said Andrew
They walked to their destination at Vander street and entered.
'This is an outdoor venue.' said Andrew 'So what, it's totes gorgeous.' said Maeve 'Okay whatever.'
A man came up to them wearing a full suit in broad daylight.
'You must be Maeve Crawford, no nice to meet you. Your mother has said lots about you.' said the man greeting Maeve 'Pleasure is all mine.' said Maeve 'Ah, is this your boyfriend, pardon me, I have such bad manners.' asked the man looking at Andrew. 'Oh no, he is not my boyfriend. This is uh Andrew. Andrew Warner.' said Maeve correcting the man. 'Oh, forgive me Mr. Warner.' said the man shaking Andrews hand 'Its alright, we all make mistakes.' said Andrew 'So what is the venue exactly needed for?' asked the man 'A birthday party for a dear friend.' replied Maeve 'Oh that's lovely. I believe the venue is just perfect for a birthday surprise.' said the man, smiling 'So, can we see it?' asked Maeve 'Oh yes, of course, follow me please.' said the man, leading the way
They walked for a while and reached the venue.

'Oh this is just gorgeous!' said Maeve excitedly 'Yeah it's great.' said Andrew 'So when would you like it?' asked the man 'Saturday.' replied Maeve 'Alright, booked for you for Saturday then, Ms. Crawford.' said the man enthusiastically 'Thank you so much for this on such short notice.' said Maeve thanking the man 'Oh no problem at all.' said the man
They both left and went back to the cafe. It was 8:20pm. Alicia and Hyde were already in there.
'Hey kids.' said Hyde waving at Andrew and Maeve 'Hey idiot.' said Andrew sitting down and punching Hyde's arm 'Did you guys get everything?' asked Alicia 'Yes we got everything. Andrew here, was of zero help.' said Maeve looking at Andrew 'Oh come on, I picked the bakery.' said Andrew defending himself 'So what? I was gonna see it sooner or later.' Maeve snapped back 'Kids, no fighting.' said Hyde holding up his index finger 'So where's the venue?' asked Alicia 'Its a place called Elle's on Vander street.' replied Andrew 'Alright, where the hell is Rose and Aaron.' said Hyde 'Making out at the back of the decorations aisle.' said Maeve jokingly and Alicia and Hyde laughed.
After about half an hour, Aaron and Rose arrived.
'Geez, took you guys long enough.' said Maeve 'Did you guys get everything?' asked Alicia 'Yep we got everything.' replied Rose sitting down next to Maeve 'Did you get the camera and lens?' asked Hyde 'Yep and many more.' replied Aaron 'Okay it's late, tomorrow we meet here exactly at 3pm. Okay?' said Alicia and everyone agreed.
Rose and Maeve went their way while Aaron, Andrew, Alicia and Hyde went their own.
