Andrews POV

I had texted jade back and told her that I would be at the library to help her.

It was 3pm on the dot so I decided to make my way towards the library to help out jade with her project.

'Hey.' I said to her as I sat down on a chair beside her
'Hey Andrew.' she said to me with a big smile
'So have you started yet?' I ask
'I've started but I don't know if it's very good.' she replied
'That's alright, let me look at it.'
'Thanks for helping me out, I was totally lost on this.'
'No problem, really.'

I helped her out for about an hour or two. The project wasn't finished but we had completed a major portion. We decided to meet again on the day after tomorrow.

'So, see you Thursday?' she asked, smiling
'Yeah, Thursday it is.' I replied

We both walked out of the library together and then went our seperate ways.

I had been just thinking Maeve for these past couple of days. I mean it's all that I can possibly think about. I even scored a 93% in physics instead of my usual 98%.

I was supposed to meet up with everyone else at the cafe so I started to make my way towards there. My heart was pounding thinking that Maeve would probably be there.

I entered the cafe and went to sit down. Maeve was here. She seemed quieter than usual.

'Damn what took you so long?' asked Hyde
'I was helping Jade out with her project.' I said and instantly felt Maeve shift her gaze towards me
'What does she need help with?' she asked
'A lamp project.' I replied
'Isn't she supposed to be like super smart? I'm surprised she can't make a lamp.' she said looking at me
'What do you guys wanna do this weekend?' asked Derek trying to lighten the tension
'Anything.' I said

Maeve had looked away by now. I was still staring at her like an idiot.

She has perfect features. Her eyes were so pretty and her lips were gorgeous.

Stop staring creep. I thought to myself and looked down at my coffee.

They all decided to go to the movies this weekend and I agreed. We were gonna go to the movies on Saturday.

We all got up and exited the cafe. I watched as Maeve left with Rose and Alicia.

'Hey dude.' said Aaron
'What?' I asked
'How come you're helping Jade with her project?' he asked with a look of suspicion
'She asked me to. She said it was difficult for her.' I replied
'She might like you, you know.' said Derek
'No way, jade does not like me.' I said surely
'Dude you're with her so much and you met not even that long ago.' said Hyde
'She hasn't made any other friends yet.' I replied
'Its been like a month, how has she possibly not made any more friends except you?' asked Aaron
'I don't know.' I replied
'Well.' said Derek
'Okay I've to go now, my dad has a dinner party that I need to go to so.'
I said, changing the subject
'Okay bye.' they said and I left

Nah, Jade doesn't like me. I thought to myself as I drove to my house.

Maeve's POV

I couldn't believe how much Andrew was hanging out with Jade. I mean seriously, helping her with a simple lamp project? It cannot be that hard to make a freaking lamp. She probably just wants to be alone with him.

'Can you believe that?' I said as we walked
'Ugh I know right.' replied Rose
'I'm about 99% sure Jade totally has a crush on Andrew.' said Alicia
'And the worst part is, he's totally falling for her stupid games of asking him to help her so she can be alone with him.' I said
'Yeah but I doubt Andrew would like her like that honestly.' said Rose
'I feel totally confused and horrible.' I said
'Look, don't worry about it, alright?' said Alicia
'How can I not worry about it? He hasn't even said anything to me about that night and now he's helping JADE with her projects. It's like I'm living in a nightmare.' I replied

Oh god. Why the hell is he doing this to me?

My worst fear now was that somehow Jade is gonna make him fall for her and he'll never speak to me ever again.

You're thinking too much. I thought to myself.

I went in my room and jumped on the bed. It was 7pm. I decided to just watch The Notebook.

It was finished at about 9pm and I heard my parents come back from work so I ran downstairs.

'Hey honey, how've you been?' asked my dad
'I've been fine.' I replied in a not-so-interested tone
'Okay well I'm sure dinner is ready by now. Come and eat with us.' said my mom
'Okay.' I said as I walked to the dining room

After dinner, I was so exhausted that I instantly got in my bed and fell asleep.

Andrews POV

I was at a dinner party with my dad's work colleagues. He kept calling me over to meet his colleagues kids who were about my age.

'Andrew, have you met Christopher?' asked my dad enthusiastically
'No I have not.' I replied
'Well this is Christopher and this is my son Andrew.' he said to the man standing in front of us with his son

I shook hands with them and left.
I felt sick and wanted to go home really bad.

I shouldn't have mentioned about me helping Jade in front of Maeve. She even asked why she needed help. What if she thinks I like her? I don't like her at all. And she certainly does not like me either.

A million thoughts were swarming inside of my head.

Suddenly I felt like throwing up.

What the hell was she doing to me?
