Once home, Mr Gold offered her to stay at his place, but she refused. She laid on her bed upset over her father's comment. Suddenly she heard a tap on her bedroom window. It was Joker. He was wearing a hoodie and a clown mask so no one would see him. She ran to the window and opened it for him to climb in.

"Hey, I just wanted to check you were okay. You seemed pretty quiet on the drive back, but I guess you've had a stressful day."

"...," she looked down as she shut the window. She then pulled him into a hug and broke down.

"It's okay. Let it all out. I know it must be very emotional for you," he said gently as he hugged her back.

"You can't tell them you're Joker...my dad would try to kill you if he sees you like this with me! Even if you are nice and caring towards me. He won't get over what happened with Rudy I guess."

"......that's okay. Your dad doesn't ever have to see me or meet me, Sarah. I understand why he'd have a problem. I'm a clown and a killer.... of course his daughter deserves better than that."

"...no," she wrapped her arms around his neck. "Even though...you're a villain...I still like you...you're my best friend."

He smiled slightly, "you're my best friend too, well female friend, Jackson is probably— okay I'll shut up now. The thing is, I like you too, and there's no harm us being friends in secret I don't think."

"...even if...we do become a couple...we can keep it as a secret too. I mean I know a couple that is a hero and villain...well she is an Anti-hero technically."

".....can I ask you a question? Why would an attractive young woman like you, be so hung up on a guy like me? Sarah, you could date anybody..."

"...you're anybody."

He then laughed because that was a good joke. By then noticed she wasn't laughing, "oh you're serious."

"...well...I like to know you more. You're sweet, kind, selfish...and...well...cute," takes his mask off, "you're cute without the make up...and with the makeup...I'm not afraid...some reason...I feel safe...and makes me braver than before. You make me feel brave whenever I see The Joker...I haven't had a nightmare not once since I met you of him."

"I just wanted her to like flirt you and flatter you. I really didn't know she was gonna advise you to date me. I swear!"

Joker was in shock now. That was a different Harley? Not his? He believed Sarah. It was probably just a harmless prank. Sarah probably had a different plan and Harley chose a different route to prank him.

"Well...she's a pretty good kisser, I will say that. Harleen never has kissed me like that. And don't worry. I believe you. But that was kinda strange for her to tell me to date you and not do what you had planned."

"That's Harley. I guess she saw you cute and saw the news of us fighting and decided to hook us up together. I didn't think Jackson would go along with it too."

"Oh poor Jackie, and I thought my girl ran off with him. But it was just your friend. Well, I appreciate you telling me." Joker smiled, "how about I get rid of this and I treat you some ice cream?"

"A date?"

"No...I-I am saying that because of the stress you went through today. I thought we can hang out again...as friends."

"Alright," Sarah blushed.

"I know a secret place...someone knows me and can keep a secret."

"Okay, great. Hopefully no one will recognize the two of us together if we go someplace on the outskirts of town"
