Several days later, Sarah was having a hard time to tell her family what happened. Maybe if she took Mr Gold with her, she wouldn't feel afraid. Joker...Arthur said he would be there...just unseen. So she decided to call Mr Gold to see if he wasn't busy on the weekend. She asked for it off at the diner since she felt it would be the right time to visit her folks. Mr Gold was at his pawnshop working with a customer. Once they left, he noticed his phone was ringing. He smiled seeing it was Sarah so he answered.
"Hello, dearie, how are you?"
"...hi, papa...um...I'm ok, but I was wondering if you could come with me to my folks this weekend? I...I want to talk to them about...it."
Mr Gold sensed what she was referring to. Was she really going to? Or really just chicken out? "Of course, dearie. I will come for support."
"Thank you...I am just afraid to tell them alone."
Saturday came and Joker, Jackson and Jessie were parked on the side of the road hidden beyond the forest by Sarah's parents house in the country side of Fairway City.
Joker never been to this place before, how could a peaceful place be a dangerous place?
"Sarah, Mr Gold," Catherine smiled seeing them, "what a surprise."
"Hi, mom...is dad still here? I really want to talk to you both about something." Sarah then looked up at her mother with an expression looking like she hoped to talk to them. She was showing her expression that she was scared, but really wanted to talk.
"Yes, well he went to the grocery store, he should be back any minute."
While waiting they talked how things were going. Mr Gold had a Bluetooth in his jacket pocket so Joker, Jackson, and Jessie would hear them.
Soon Caleb came home and pulled in the driveway. He stopped seeing Mr Gold and Sarah.
"Hey, Rumpel, hey sweetie." Sarah came to her dad and he hugged her happily. "This is a surprise."
