LOVE, HATE AND DESIRE.

CHAPTER 5

"Lena, what are you saying? You never told us you were in a relationship with mr anderson." Mrs Moore said

"It was a secret affair mother."

"Why would you be with a man who keeps you hidden? He couldn't even introduce himself to your family." her father inquired.

"You know who he is father, he's a busy man."

"Now he wants a secret wedding, it doesn't add up." he said, nathan snarled.

"Dad you know i don't like to be in the limelight, the secret wedding was my idea after he proposed." Selena stared at nathan indignantly

"Lena."

"Oh come on mother, just be there will you."

"Do you love him? And does he love you?"

Selena stared at nathan, who was in turn squinting at her, his eyes had a warning in them.

"Yes mother, enough to get us eagar to be with each other. With time everyone will know, for now, i want it quiet." selena wiped a tear off.

"Alright dear, we'll be there, your father isn't convinced yet, and so am i. Maybe we will when we see you both at the wedding of seven people." mrs moore said sarcastically.

Selena sighed in a shaky breath, she slumped on the sofa and weeped into her hands.
"That was...okay, you're going to do better at our wedding. I don't want your father asking questions." nathan said, he stood up and added;

"The team will fix you up in a bit, Ryan will bring you afterwards."

Selena watched him leave the office, then she quickly took her bag and shoes and hurried to the door, unfortunately it was locked. She tried to open it but to no avail, she was 20feet up so she couldn't smash the glass and jump out.

Then she thought of calling the cops; "Please save me, i'm held ransom at Mr. Anderson's office." she said

"I'm sorry miss, mr anderson sends his warm regards, and congratulations on your wedding." The officer said and hung up. Selena was aghast, what was going on? she wondered.

The door opened and a woman walked in, she was holding a black bag which she knew contained a dress and a makeup kit.

"Please sit, let's begin." the woman said

"Please get me out of here, he's holding me ransom." selena pleaded.

The woman smiled, "Mr Anderson said i should give you this." she gave selena a note.

**I have cameras hidden in my office, be good and cooperate with luisa, don't waste my time.**

Selena squeezed the note and threw it with a scream, she paced up and down in anger. What has she gotten into? She shouldn't have taken the job, she shouldn't have come here, why? why? why?. A lot of questions ran through her head;

"Miss moore."

"Give me a minute okay." she said as she tried to calm herself, there was no need fighting or being stubborn, the monster could kill her family and no one would care. So she went ahead to sit quietly while the wo.....luisa do whatever she wanted.
In less than ten minutes, luisa was done, it wasn't an auspicious day, so selena didn't allow anything obvious and vibrant. She was then led by Ryan to the waiting limo;

"You look like a hundred million dollar." nathan said.

Selena gave him a baleful glare, she held her tongue because of the two men with them, clutching her dress tight enough to ruin it, nathan gripped her wrist.

"You wouldn't want to rip your dress before the wedding is over darling, i'll be doing the ripping in a couple of hours." he said as his grip tightened, almost crushing her little wrist.

Ryan saw her wince, then he said; "Nate, the ring."

Nathan slowly released her, then turned to Ryan. "Aren't you supposed to get it." he said through clenched teeth.

"It's with me." henry said, typing away on his phone, paying no attention to them.

The remaining ride was quiet, and when they arrived, nathan sent the men out as he turned to selena.

"Put on your best act, if your father suspects a thing, i'll end you all with a snap of my finger. Don't test me, selena moore, no, selena anderson. Sounds better." he said and stepped out with a beguiling smile.

Selena raised the sleeves of her dress and saw the bruise from the grip, she closed it back as she tried to control the tears that formed. Then she slowly stepped out as well, falling beside her soon to be husband. When she saw her family, she gave the most beautiful smile she could put up, hoping it was convincing enough as she hugged them.

"You look even more beautiful than i ever imagined." her mother said

"Are you certain this is what you want lena?" Mr. Arnold Moore couldn't believe a man like nathan anderson, CEO of Ander-Tech Industries, a multibillion dollar company would settle for his daughter.

"Yes dad."

"Believe it or not, i chose her because she completes me." Nathan said as he wrapped an arm around her slim waist, then placing a kiss on her temple.

"See, nothing to worry about." Selena said smiling.

"Okay then, i give you my blessings." Mr. Arnold said

The wedding was taken place at the court registry, as selena and nathan stared into each other's eyes, that spark they felt the first time they met flew leaving selena breathless and nathan smitten. For a moment, the two forgot about the awkward situation and admired each other genuinely. And when they shared a kiss, the world stopped, nathan kissed selena wantonly and she responded in the same way.
The applause brought selena back to her senses and she almost shot herself for losing control.

'What the hell is wrong with you selena?!' she scolded herself

Nathan had a smug smile like he just won a bonus, and it made selena only hate herself more, but she couldn't show anything but genuine happiness right?
