Chapter 4

Stella pov.
By the time i got back home it was almost midnight i hugged Calum goodbye at the top of my drive way and made my way to the house opening the door and sliding down and sitting against it still in shock that it even happened until i heard Ash say umm where the hell have you been Stel i was worried sick about you i just said i went on a walk i need to get some air he then said Alone? ? I then said umm no with a friend he said oh okay who?? I then looked at him smiling widely and said i have to keep that part secret Ash he then said its a boy isnt it ? I then said maybe as i stood up from being against the door and started to make my way to my room but suddenly stopped by Ash as he said just be careful Stel i just said were only friends Ash as i jerked away from his grip and went to my room and shutting the door behind me. I then went over sitting on my bed and i got my phone and i had a message from Calum
Calum: tonight was fun maybe we could do it again i really like talking to you
Me: ummm yea we should how about tomorrow ?
Calum : tomorrows great what time?
Me: how about around 9 pm or later ?
Calum: that works for me
Me: well see ya tomorrow then
Calum: yea well goodnight stella
Me: goodnight
After i told Calum goodnight i fell back on my bed and just stared at my roof just thinking about how great tonight was. I then heard a quite knock at the bedroom door so i got up walking over to see Ash standing there with a blank expression as he said Stel i wanna apologize for my little out burst down stairs i shouldn't have did that. I just smiled saying its okay Ash i understand your just trying to protect me and stuff but i can protect myself and if i ever need you trust me i will let you know he then smiled saying okay as he pulled me into a hug saying i love you Stel before pulling away from the hug i said i love you to but Ash im really tired and need to get some sleep considering we go back to school in two days and i really need to start going to bed before midnight but i doubt thats going to happen he then just smiled as he said goodnight before he closed the door back and i made my way back to my bed laying down and it seems like as soon as i hit the bed i fell asleep.
Calums pov.
When i got home from after spending the night with Stella i went straight up to my room and sit on the bed and just thought about everything that happend i can't believe a girl as beautiful as stella wants anything to do with me im just a loser in a band that the girls at school pay no attention but theres something different about stella she looks at me a way no one ever else has and i want to introduce her to the guys so bad but we just met tonight so i don't want to assume that were going to be long time friends or anything even though we are going on another walk again tomorrow i just enjoy her company honestly she makes me feel like im not the school loser that everyone dislikes she makes me feel wanted. I know that sounds really feminine but its true she makes me feel happy in a way no one ever has and i think were going to be great friends if school don't ruin it for us. I was laying there thinking till my phone went off and i picked it up and it was Luke
Luke: where did you disappear to at the party you were they one minute and gone the next
Me: i went on a walk
Luke: ohh with who??
Me: a girl i met at the party shes new you don't know her
Luke: Oh okay are you going to introduce us to her
Me: i don't know maybe
Luke: okay i want to meet this girl especially if you like her
Me: were just friends
Luke: oh okay so you have zero feelings for her
Me: i don't she's just a nice pretty girl that i met at the party can i not talk to girls without it being that i have feelings
Luke: calm down mate i didnt mean to upset you i was just asking
Me: okay well its almost 1 am Luke im going to bed
Luke: well remember we have band practice tomorrow night at 8 till maybe 10
Me: umm shit okay i may have to leave early
Luke :okay why?
Me: i have plans tomorrow night .
Luke: okay we will just figure it out tomorrow okay goodnight mate
Me: goodnight
After my conversation with Luke i laid my phone down on my beside table and went to sleep with stella still on my mind.
Stellas pov.
The next morning i woke extremely early before everyone else actually which is strange thing for me so i decided to do something nice for everyone else and make them breakfast so while i was cooking breakfast i heard someone come walking down the stairs and i turned around to see Harry standing there and i smiled saying good morning and asking him if he would like to help me finish making breakfast he happily said yes as he ran into the kitchen next to me and said Stella what can i help you with i then sent him a smile saying you could set the table for everyone while i get the rest of the pancakes off he then said okay as he grabbed a stack of plates and going over to the table and setting it. After he set the table i said Har would you go get the others and tell them he said yes as he ran to go get the others while he was gone i put on some coffee knowing both my mom and Anna would want some. I then brung all the food over to the table and sitting it down. I then heard a bunch of foot steps coming i then heard Ash say omg something smells good Harry than screamed STELLA COOKED BREAKFAST as they walked into the kitchen along with everyone. I then just said good morning everyone i thought i would just make breakfast since i was already up so i hope you like it. They then all went and sit at the table i then walked over and joined them sitting in my usual seat between Lauren and Ash.
After breakfast i helped clean up the kitchen before going up to my room were i found some casual clothes to change into and went to go take a shower. After my shower i changed into some ripped jeans and a flannel and pulled my hair up into a messy bun sliding my van's on and sending Calum a text
Me: hey are you busy ?
Calum: umm not really why ??
Me: i wanted to go to the park but i didnt want to go alone and i wanted to see if you would like to
Calum: yea sure let me just get changed and i will meet you there
Me: okay :-)
After i sent the last text i shoved my phone in my back pocket and walked downstairs but before i made it out the door Ash grabbed my arm and said where are you going i said umm out to the park he then said okay with who i then snapped back Ash i don't think thats any of your business he then let me go saying Stel im sorry i didnt mean for it to sound that way i just said i know Ash your just trying to protect me but damn it i don't need it the guy im meeting hes harmless okay just stop asking like my fucking dad i left my dad back in Brisbane okay he then just stared at me in shock as i ran out the door slamming it behind me starting to run to the park when i finally got there i ran to a near by tree and sitting down at it putting my head down against my knees that i had pulled up to my chest as i began to just sob. I then heard a familiar voice say Stella are you okay ? I looked up wiping my eyes to see Calum standing over me with a concerned look on his face. I then answered him saying im fine i just had a fight with my cousin Calum then sit down beside me and said im here to listen if your wiling to tell me i then said yea im wiling to he said okay so what happened? I started by saying well this all started last night when i came in from being out with you he acted just like my dad asking me where i was at and stuff and i kinda just got a little frustrated considering hes only my cousin and stuff he acts like my dad i get he's over protective he has been since we were kids but this was just to much but he apologized last night after it happened. But when i went to leave to meet you here today he did the same thing and i kinda blow up and stuff and then i ran and i probably hurt his feelings and i feel so bad he's the only thing that i really have he has helped me so much and i just went off on him taking all my anger out on him when i finished telling Calum i started crying again as i leaned against his shoulder he then said its all going to be okay Stella as he pulled me into him wrapping his arms around me and resting his chin on top of my head as i cried into his shirt. I cried until i couldn't cry no more i pulled away from him looking at him as i said thank you Calum for being here as i leaned in kissing him on the cheek before standing up realizing it was getting around Lunch time and my mom would want me to be home. So i said goodbye to Calum hugging him and turned to walk away before he screamed and ask are we still up for tonight i yelled back yes as i started to walk home.
