Chapter 1

3rd person POV

Chat Noir had just had a fight with Ladybug about her keeping too many secrets from him, "It's to keep you safe!" Ladybug had said "We've gone over this so many times! You think I WANT to keep these secrets!? From you, my friends, my family!" "It just isn't fair, I'll be able to handle it, so just talk to me about it!" Chat Noir had said back. "Chat, I'm sorry but, I know that you're just not ready" Ladybug had stopped yelling and went into a more gentle tone. "I know, it's just, I'm so tired of secrets, I feel everyone keeps secrets from me, you, my father, and sometimes I feel my friends keep secrets too." Chat's voice started breaking and his eyes were watering. "Chat I know and I wish I could help you more, but right now I can't. When I know you're ready, I'll tell you, but for now, just try to be patient, just for a little longer." Ladybug waved and said goodbye, then she was off.

Chat's POV

"I need to detransform.'' I found an alleyway and quickly released my transformation. "I know I know, but it still makes me angry." I said before Plagg could say anything like 'she's the guardian and you'll know everything soon enough.' he sighed "I think it's time to go home, we're both tired and we both don't want to talk about this right now." I walked back home and went through the secret back door that only me and my mother knew and climbed the vines that went high enough to my window. The vines helped when I wanted to go somewhere without having to transform to get there. I got ready and said goodnight to Plagg before drifting off to sleep.

Marinette's POV

After I got home and detransformed I got ready for bed and said goodnight to Tikki. After Tikki went to sleep I sat in my bed thinking about what had happened earlier that night. I sighed 'I'll know when you're ready Chat, just be patient.' I kept on thinking to myself that night, not sleeping well any night I just decided to get ready for school early.
