"That's right." Lilan stepped into the room after sending Zhao Cheng away and began nagging. "Jennie ah, you are the Kim family's daughter. As long as your surname is Kim, you have the responsibility to fulfil your role. We don't need you to come up with ways to help the Kim family out of trouble. All you have to do is sell these clothes."

"In the past, I did have this responsibility. But now... our debt is still unsettled. Mom, let's first talk about the amount Dad previously earned. Since you spent away my portion, you have to repay it first." Jennie replied calmly.

She extended her left hand with the palm facing up.

"Why are you bringing this up again? Isn't it all in the past?" Lilan responded unhappily. "I already told you, the money is gone. Even if you had a share in it, what's wrong with your mother using it? Besides, how much money could your Dad have had?"

Jennie responded crisply. "Very good. So, you're insisting that my father didn't leave a single cent before falling ill?"

"There was a little..."

"How much is a little?"

"A few million dollars..." Lilan did not feel guilty responding so brazenly. In any case, the Kim Group was completely under her control. She could destroy the accounts anytime she wished.

"It would be more accurate if you added two more zeroes behind that." Jennie threw out her estimation. She was able to guess this based on the bonus that her elder brother had received in the past.

Lilan was taken back. How did this dumb wench know that Lee Dong had left that much money?

"In any case, the money is long gone." Lilan maintained a composed expression. "We will sell these new clothes for half or one third of the original cost. We will sell them cheaply. It would be perfect if people were to buy them at eighty percent of the original value. Once we have ten to thirty million dollars, the Kim Group will be revived..."

"Mom." Jennie cut her off. "There is only one reason that I mentioned this topic to you. I'm helping you to understand that since the Kim Group did not give me my portion when there was money, the company's current problems are completely unrelated to me. I will not sell any of my clothes for the Kim Group!"

Lilan didn't bother to argue with her. She approached the closet and pulled out a pile of clothes, preparing to take them away with her. "You have to sell them even if you don't want to!"

Krystal saw this and followed suit. She approached the shoe rack and began collecting the new shoes.

Jennie did not stop them. She said casually, "Mom, did the wine bottle that Lisa rewarded you with, taste good? The injury on your left hand hasn't healed yet, right? Shall I ask Lisa to 'gift' you another bottle?"

Then, she turned to Krystal who had several pairs of shoes in her hands. "Second sister, I guarantee that if either of you touch my clothes or shoes, Lisa will definitely 'reward' the two of you."

Lilan halted instantly. She recalled the way Lisa's bodyguard had tried to smash the bottle of wine on her head. If she hadn't acted fast and blocked it with her hand, her skull would have been shattered.

Even till now, her wound was very painful.

"Jennie, you dare!" Krystal shouted.

"Do you want to try me?" Jennie smiled. "Also, these are Lisa's things. If you sell them without his consent, it would be considered as fraud. Are you seeking a jail term?"

Lilan and Krystal exchanged uneasy looks. They were deliberating whether Jennie would actually complain to Lisa about this.

If she really informed Lisa that they forcefully sold these clothes, considering his character, the consequences would really be too much for them to bear.
