Her second sister had made a fuss about her damaged phone and had insisted that he give her an identical one. Lisa was not one to owe anyone something. Thus, he had asked a helper to buy her a similar one.

At the time, Jennie had been confused about her sister's actions. She was not someone who would thicken up her skin to ask for compensation for a phone that wasn't expensive.

It turned out that she had the intention to boast in front of her classmates.

As expected, her second sister was showing off.

Yerin's eyes lit up. "Lisa gifted it to you?"

But Sana appeared to be confused. "Krystal, this is a V12. It's priced at no more than a thousand odd dollars for one. Although it isn't cheap for common people, Commander Manoban couldn't have been this stingy, right?"

"That's right." Yerin was also confused. "You were using a V12 previously, as well. There's no difference between the two."

"My previous phone had a couple of scratches. Over here..." Krystal pointed at the phone. "It's not as if you didn't know that. This phone is brand new. Are there any marks on this one?"

"That's true. Your previous phone did appear to be a little older." Yerin nodded.

Krystal put on a humble and bashful expression. "It's Lisa, la. He originally wanted to buy me an expensive phone. But I'm still a student and he was worried that having an expensive phone would put me in danger. For the sake of my safety, he bought one that was identical to what I was using previously."

"So that's the reason." Sana was extremely envious. "I never expected Commander Manoban to be so considerate."

"Isn't he?" Yerin smiled. "Our Krystal will be really blessed in the future."

"As my friends, both of you will also be blessed." Krystal arrogantly accepted their flattery. She then patted her chest. "After I marry into the Manoban family, I'll take good care of the two of you."

"You have to keep your word."

...

On the second floor, Lilan was also standing by the window, listening to the commotion downstairs. She closed the window and turned to Jennie, who appeared unmoved. "Jennie, look, everyone has the misconception that your second sister is the true, future lady of the Manoban family. You can't ruin such a good matter for your second sister."

"I'm ruining her good matter? Then I really have to ruin it well!" Jennie lifted her brows.

"How could you not give any consideration to your sisterhood..." Lilan wanted to continue reprimanding her but was cut off by Jennie.

"If Krystal gave some consideration to our sisterhood, she would not have pretended to be the future Lady Manoban. She is impersonating me. Why didn't you educate her better? Since Krystal has the guts to do this right now, I hope she will be able to suffer the consequences in the future!"

"You!" Lilan glared at her in frustration.

Jennie paid no more heed to her. She left her room and headed for the backyard on the first floor. She stood on one leg and lifted her other leg to her forehead.

"Jennie, I never thought you would be able to do such a difficult move with your weight!" Yiren sighed. "What are you doing?"

"Yoga." It was good for losing weight. She wanted to accelerate the process!

Sana mocked her, ruthlessly. "Look at your figure. How could you possibly lose weight?"

"I've already lost twenty catties." Jennie glanced at Sana's figure. "Who knows, after some time, I may be even thinner than you."

"Tsk!" Sana waved her hand in dismissal. "Who would believe that? Have you taken a look at your face in the mirror? Even if you lose weight, no men would be interested in you."

"Is that so?" Jennie responded in a noncommittal tone.

"Jennie, your sportswear is from an international brand..." Yerin seemed to discover something. "Where did you get the money to buy it?"
