He appeared not to mind and responded. "How could there be a future sister-in-law? I've never considered such a thing."

He had already given his entire heart to her. How could he possibly consider a different woman?

Jennie assumed that he was bothered by his criminal record. "Brother, don't worry. I guarantee that I will overturn your case successfully. When that happens, there'll be tons of beautiful women waiting for you."

The bitterness in Sehun's heart worsened. However, he smiled warmly. "Alright. Let's go and eat."

Jennie approached the dining table.

There were three dishes and one soup placed on the table which contained Braised Pork Meatballs, Steamed Perch in Ginger and Scallions, Braised Prawns in Soy Sauce and Vegetable and Egg Soup respectively.

The food looked to be outstanding and was especially fragrant. Although these dishes could be found on almost any household's dinner table, the atmosphere was especially warm in here.

Sehz prepared two bowls of rice and handed one over to her.

Jennie reached for a piece of prawn and some vegetables. She quickly picked up her bowl and said, "I'm starving. Brother, the food is really good. Even the rice you cooked is especially fragrant!"

"If it's good, have more." He kept placing more food into her bowl.

"No, no." Jennie stopped him. "I'm trying to lose weight. I can only have half a bowl of rice. I can't have too much meat either."

He frowned slightly. He then scanned her up and down seriously. "Jenjen, I remember you told me that you're only 60 kilograms right now."

"I am."

"You're 1.69 metres tall. 60 kilograms is normal weight for your height. You don't have to lose any more weight."

"No." She shook her head. "Think about it. I was overweight for such a long time. It wasn't easy losing this much weight. If I persevere for a little longer, I'll be able to possess a charming figure."

She then struck a pose. "Brother, look. My waist is actually really thin. Even when I was overweight, most of my body fat did not gather at my stomach. If I lose a little more weight, my waist will be especially stunning!"

Sehun's gaze landed on her body.

Her shoulders were defined and her waist was slender. Even her legs appeared especially long. Right now, her figure was very attractive. Indeed, if she lost more weight, she would possess the charming figure that she described.

His heart felt moved.

He suddenly felt himself on the brink of a nosebleed.

Jennie spoke up unhappily. "Brother, where are your eyes looking at?"

He assumed that she had noticed his gaze and was about to explain when she continued. "You're not allowed to look at my chin. My scabs are ridiculously ugly."

Thankfully, she had misunderstood! He did not explain further. "Your figure is already quite good right now. Listen to me, don't lose any more weight."

She pouted in refusal. "No."

Sehun was helpless. "At least, make sure that you don't starve yourself." He picked up a piece of the steamed perch for her. "Steamed fish is good for your health. It won't cause you to gain weight. Instead, it will instead enrich your blood and strengthen your body. It's alright if you have a little more of it."

Her brother had worked hard to prepare these dishes. Jennie did not refuse him. She picked up the fish and stuffed it into her mouth.

"Eat slowly. Watch out for bones," he nagged in concern.

She took in his worried appearance and suddenly felt deeply upset.

In their previous life, ever since he was jailed, she only visited him once.

She did not see him again ever after.

Right now, she deeply cherished the fact that they were able to sit down together for a meal.

He noticed her upset expression and immediately placed his chopsticks and bowl down. "What's wrong? Are you upset?"

She shook her head lightly. "Brother, let's have meals together often in the future, alright?"
