Jennie's gaze turned cold and she gathered her mental energy. As Sana's foot slipped against the ground, she activated her powers and worsened her fall. Sana fell face-forward into the bucket of water next to the mop.
Everyone observing the scene was dumbstruck.
"That was a beautiful fall!" Jennie praised the tableau generously.
Sana choked on the dirty water while the cleaning lady was astonished. "Aiya, I just mopped the toilet!"
"It seems like you really ate shit! Haha!" Jennie laughed.
The crowd started to chuckle as well. One of the guests spoke up. "It seems like we cannot be careless with our words. God is always watching us. Karma can really be delivered so swiftly."
Krystal rushed over to her friend's side. She had originally planned to help Sana up. However, when she saw that Sana's hair and face were soaking wet, and that the water had just been used to clean the toilet, she was disgusted. But she pretended to be concerned. "Sana, are you all right?"
Although her words were full of sympathy, she made no move to help her up. If the water touched her, she would stink for the rest of the day.
It was the cleaning lady who finally helped Sana get up. "Little lady, are you all right?"
"Sana, you poor thing, why were you so careless?" Yerin also tried to console her, but made no effort to actually help.
Sana coughed repeatedly. She dry heaved loudly, attempting to vomit out the water she had swallowed.
Jennie quickly went to the counter to take a bottle of water for her. "Gargle with this."
Dirty water was dripping from Sana's head and clothes. She gargled and spat the water out repeatedly, stopping only when the bottle was empty. Right after, she began screaming as though no one was watching. "Aaaaah!"
Everyone near the reception area nearly turned deaf from her screams.
After venting, she turned in rage towards the cleaning lady. "What's your problem! Why were you cleaning at this time?"
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry..." The cleaning lady apologised repeatedly.
"Earlier, there was a child who was eating an ice cream. It dripped a bit on the floor. My boss asked me to clean it up. To prevent the floor from being slippery, I used a dry mop."
"I don't care about all that. I spent three hundred plus dollars on my clothes. You have to compensate me!" Sana refused to listen to her explanation.
Jennie did not want to implicate the cleaning lady. "Sana, you were the one who walked forward without using your eyes. You fell straight into her bucket. Don't you feel shameless blaming someone else? What is the opinion of the people present here?"
The people standing there also thought that Sana had fallen on the bucket by accident. They all began speaking up for the cleaning lady. "That's right. Little lady, don't try to rip someone off like that."
"Since you fell on your own, you should take responsibility for it. Besides, your clothes can be washed. It's not as if the cleaning lady splashed dirty water on you..."
Jennie mocked her. "Sana, when will your live broadcast begin? Come, let me bring you to the toilet. You can start immediately!"
She pretended to reach for her.
Sana's complexion turned pale with anger. She stomped her feet in frustration and left the place unhappily.
She was going home for a shower. She would wash herself ten times!
Krystal and Yerin glared harshly at Jennie before they followed her out.
Jennie worked out in the gym for three hours until she was covered in sweat. Then, she made her way back to the Kim home.
The moment she stepped through the door, she found Lisa seated on the living room sofa with a heavy and cold expression. The two bodyguards standing behind him were armed with guns.
