Jennie understood that he needed to leave right now. Although she could not bear to say goodbye, she still smiled warmly at him. "It's alright. I'll wait for you."

'I'll wait for you'! Nothing was more moving than these words for him.

He had devoted his heart and body to her. Even if the world fell apart, the feelings he had for her would never change!

Lisa embraced her tightly in his strong arms, nearly meshing her into becoming one with him. He wanted her to leave a mark on his soul!

He really did not wish to go.

However, the matter was urgent and could not be delayed.

He badly wanted to confide his feelings to her and express just how dearly he longed for her with every second and minute that passed by.

But there was no more time left.

He had a thousand words to say, but all he murmured was her name urgently. "Jennie..."

She shifted on his lap and looked up to meet his gaze. As she took in his handsome features, she endured the longing and smiled to urge him. "Go on. Hurry."

She was about to stand when he tightened his arm around her waist. He abruptly lowered his head and pressed a fierce kiss against her soft lips.

The sensation was much sweeter than he could have imagined.

His deep longing, overwhelmed her.

Just as she felt herself going out of breath, he abruptly stood up, tugging her along with him. He employed all of his willpower to release her and did not look back as he walked away. "Wait for me."

He stepped out of the Kim family's entrance, a tall and broad-shouldered figure walking away in a suit.

Jennie watched dazedly as he climbed into a multi-purpose, luxury vehicle and drove away. Eventually, the car was no longer visible.

He had not looked back even once to return her gaze.

She felt a little gloomy.

However, she recalled the way he had asked her to wait for him. Her confidence returned and a sweet anticipation welled up.

As the car drove out of the Kim family's villa, Lisa finally dared to turn back to look at the villa where his beloved stayed in.

It was not that he did not want to look at her, but he was afraid that he would not be able to leave if he caught another glance of her.

As he recalled her promise to wait for him, his frozen heart began to warm up with emotions once more.

Krystal had run to the front yard earlier. She had been paying attention to the living room the whole time to try and guess the time when Lisa would eventually leave. She had even made preparations to seduce him.

From afar, she saw that Lisa had left with his bodyguards. Internally, she looked down on Jennie once more. The ugly trash could not hold onto her man for even a short while.

Krystal walked leisurely into the living room and mocked her ruthlessly. "Yo, third sister, I thought that Lisa really liked you, but he left from here in a hurry. It's clear you're not that important to him."

"Is that so?" Jennie sneered. "Do you perhaps think that he likes you instead?"

"Third sister, listen to me." Krystal pretended as though her heart ached for her.

She began to nag in a caring voice. "Lisa hasn't visited you even once during the past ten days. Are there any fiancés like him? He is clearly treating you like a plaything. He comes to tease you when he likes, and when he is disinterested, he leaves you here all by yourself."

"He had urgent matters to deal with." Jennie picked up the tea cup that Lisa had used earlier and took a sip from it.

"Lisa has been so busy he hasn't been able to rest. Have you forgotten? The previous time he came to visit me, he rushed out on a helicopter. What are you trying to imply? Does Lisa seem like someone who would waste his time on a plaything? Second sister, there's no point in trying to sow discord between us. Do you think I'm as dumb as Sana?"
