“Of course your fiancé will speak for you.” Krystal appeared to be especially fearless and open. “As for Zhu Xi, go ahead and call her. I didn’t do anything wrong. There’s nothing for me to fear.”

Zhu Xi belonged to Class One. Moreover, she stayed in the old dormitory which was rather far from here.

Jennie rarely came to school. Krystal was certain that Jennie did not have her phone number. She responded in such a bold manner and assumed that she had already won, at least for now.

As for later, if Jennie really planned to look for Zhu Xi’s phone number, she could bribe the person first.

From an outsider’s perspective, Krystal's attitude seemed to clearly indicate that she had a clear conscience. A trusting expression immediately appeared on Yerin and Wu Jiatong’s faces.

“Second sister, I suppose when you’re on death’s door, nothing will frighten you.” Jennie understood Krystal's methods very well.

This bitch was definitely assuming that she did not have Zhu Xi’s phone number.

In the past, she indeed did not have it. But having gone through one life, she had made advanced preparations for many such eventualities.

She was about to give Zhu Xi a call when Tzuyu, who had been watching silently, spoke up. “Zhu Xi, who is in Year 2, Class One, right? I have her number.”

She brought her phone out and dialled a number.

“Eh...” Krystal did not expect a sudden ambush. Her face immediately flustered. “Tzuyu, how is this related to you?”

“Didn’t you tell us to go ahead and ask her?” Tzuyu appeared confused as she watched her. “Why are you unwilling now? Do you have a guilty conscience?”

Jennie did not expect Tzuyu, who barely interacted with her, to help her.

Although she already had Zhu Xi’s phone number, this was the first person in the entire school to offer her kindness. She was quite moved.

She also felt grateful.

It turned out that not everybody in this school hated her.

“Who is guilty?” Krystal noticed that Zhu Xi had picked up the call. She lowered her voice. “I can’t be bothered to talk about this with you all any longer. I have other matters to handle. I’m leaving first.”

She tried to leave the room but was easily hauled back by Jennie. “Second sister, you fucking appeared with a bomb all of a sudden. The smoke hasn’t even faded and you’re trying to leave. No matter how urgent the matter is, I’m sure you can spare a few minutes.”

“Isn’t it? If you don’t have a guilty conscience, let’s straighten out the facts before you leave.” Tzuyu also stood in front of the door.

“Krystal, I believe in you.” Yerin's expression was determined. “Let’s clear the air and slap your third sister’s ugly face once and for all!”

“...”

Krystal's escape was a failure. She bit her bottom lip silently.

“Hello, is this Tzuyu?” Zhu Xi’s voice could be heard from Tzuyu's phone.

Jennie received the phone from her and switched it to speaker mode.

She said, “Hello, I’m Tzuyu's roommate, Jennie. I have something to ask you.”

“Jennie, ah...” Upon hearing her name, the other party immediately responded. “Aiyo, Jennie, the D1 room 201 you’re living in right now actually belonged to me. Your fiancé sent someone to give me money and originally instructed me to directly pass the winning lot over to you. But he was afraid that you wouldn’t accept it, so he handed it over to your second sister to give it to you. As a result, I have to live in this old, broken building. There isn’t even a toilet in my dorm room. I have to use the public restroom. I can’t believe I have to live like this for four years of my university life. Your room is so much different. It’s clean and well furnished. I sure regret my decision, but who asked me to accept your fiancé’s money. Forget it, forget it. I was the one who did this to myself. All I can do is grumble about it a little. Do you need something from me?”

Jennie pursed her lips. “I called you to ask about this, actually.”
