In front of the students, a giant, red banner cloth obstructed their view.
They were completely surrounded by countless cameramen and reporters holding on to their microphone.
As Lisa had arranged sufficient manpower to ensure control over the situation, a group of bodyguards stood in their designated positions to sternly control the crowd. Thus, despite the flood of media personnels, the situation was not chaotic.
Behind the red banner, employees were rushing to build the last-minute stage.
The foundation of the stage was made of steel frames. The workers placed wooden planks one after another on top of it. They then covered the surface with red carpet and added a projector screen in the background. Very quickly, the stage was completed.
If it had been any other business or social event, they would take several days to build such a large-scale event space.
However, due to Lisa's unique identity, preparations were already made for the possibility of such last-minute occurrences. All they had to do was to use all of the prepared materials to build the podium.
By the time all the students were in attendance, thirty minutes had passed. Almost at the same time, the stage was fully formed.
The workers were extremely efficient and did not leave the students waiting for even a minute.
The red banner was gradually removed. Four large, glowing words were displayed on the large screen on-stage - Warming Jing Hua University with Love.
Everyone only took a quick look at those words before they shifted their gaze onto Krystal, who was standing on the stage.
Why was she on-stage?
Everyone was confused.
They considered that she was Lisa's girl. There was some logic to her being there.
Krystal was outstandingly beautiful, eloquent and kind. She was also the communications director in the student council. Whenever the school conducted events, there was a high probability that she would host the event.
Perhaps, she was actually the host of this assembly? But she didn't seem to be holding a microphone?
At this moment, Krystal was extremely nervous. She felt the curious gaze from all of her fellow students and teachers. She then glanced at the crowd of reporters beneath the stage. Her beautiful face was pale with anxiety and fear.
She did not wish to stand here but there were bodyguards standing on both sides of the stage. They were watching her.
The bodyguards had told her to stand at the centre of the stage and not to move. Otherwise, not only would she fail to escape, she would also be tied up and held down in front of everyone.
If that happened, she would only be humiliating herself further.
They also added that if she dared to pretend to lose consciousness, they would repeat what they did with Sana previously and conduct a live-stream of her eating shit.
Ever since the Weng family collapsed overnight and Sana was expelled from school, Krystal came to understand that the bodyguards did not fool around when carrying out Lisa's orders. They would abide by his command to the absolute tee.
Under the pressure of power, she could only stand stiffly on stage.
Thankfully, she was someone who always paid attention to her appearance.
Today, she was dressed in a dress appropriate for the occasion that enhanced her image as a graceful lady. It was in a charming shade of pink and had a v-neck. It revealed a slight hint of cleavage and when combined with her carefully applied make-up, she seemed to be a high-profile, wealthy lady attending a ball. She absolutely did not lose any face.
She was standing in front of so many reporters. Rather than being made fun of, for her poor expression, it was better to maintain a graceful smile.
Perhaps, things were not as bad as she thought?
She kept praying in her heart. She hoped that her mother would quickly force Lisa and Jennie away...
The head of teaching, Ma Yongting, personally stepped onto the stage with a microphone. He first bowed to everyone before speaking cheerfully in perfect Chinese. "A very good afternoon to all the teachers and students present. I am the Head of Teaching, Ma Yongting. I am honoured to be the host for an important figure's visit to our school."
