He said in a cold and heavy voice, "It's only right that I sacrificed some of my time. If I didn't attend this performance attentively, how would she have learned the consequences of targeting my fiancée?"

"Yes, yes, of course." Krystal clenched her clammy hands.

She was once again thankful that Sana had spoken up for her today.

He quickly tore the envelope open and scanned its contents. The bodyguard by the side had already prepared a glass cup around the size of a wine glass. After Lisa finished reading the letter, he tossed it into the cup. The letter immediately lit up with flames and turned into ashes within a matter of seconds.

Jennie recognised that the cup was coated with fine powder. Once the lid was opened, any matter that came into contact with it would combust.

There were a lot of confidential matters that were not suited to be saved and stored. Burning them was the best way of dealing with them.

Lisa turned to look at her. As a rare occurrence, his voice carried some guilt. "Jennie, I came to spend some time with you, but there are important matters that I have to handle."
