Days turned into weeks and weeks into months. It's been six months they have shifted to the city.

They have settled well in the new routine especially children as they got admitted in the new school after the summer vacation.  Even Aditya started going to school with his brothers.

His medication has began and he started taking few steps but with the help of crutches. Abhiraj and Meera were happy with improvement but dishearten as well that their kid had to take support while walking.

Abhiraj decided to admit Aditya in school so that he can have friends and feel better among them rather than staying home and getting bored when his brothers will be at school. Abhiraj  requested the principal to take special care of Aditya which he agreed.

Abhiraj was trying his best to make Meera feel better around him. He was working hard on their business as well.
Meera was less awkward and nervous around him. She wouldn't stop laughing or talking with the children even if he came there.

They started eating together on insistence of Abhiraj. They started having conversations not only about children and family but also themselves. He would take time for her even if he was tired.

They were knowing each other in a new way. But whenever Abhiraj would ask for forgiveness, Meera didn't replied. She herself couldn't come to a conclusion about what she should do?

She was scared to come out of her shell, her insecurities were not letting her.

One day, all of them were having breakfast when the telephone rang. Meera was going to pick it but Abhiraj stopped her as she was feeding Nandu.

Abhiraj picked up the telephone and put it on his ears," Hello bhaisa" It was his brother Pruthvi.

" Hello Pruthvi" Abhiraj replied.

"Bhaisa, Maasa is no more ". Abhiraj was shocked and saddened. Though he was very angey on his mother for creating problems between him and Meera. But she was his mother. He cannot hate her completely.

From the time they had come here. He has denied to Meera to talk with his mother saying that they will not keep any contact with her till she accepts that she is wrong.

Now that she was no more Abhiraj regretted  that if he could have talked with her last time.

They hurriedly went to their village for her last ritual. Being her elder son, it was his responsibility, he cannot deny it.

Meera was equally saddened by her mother in Law's dismiss. However, she has behaved badly with Meera. But, it's not in her heart be happy on her death.

When they reached, the environment of their house was mourning, unpleasantly silent. After the last ritual was done, all men came back.

At night, Abhiraj's brother told them that from the time they went their Maasa was not mingling in the household. Slowly, she stopped going out and avoided talking much. It was clear that she was missing her grandchildren.

Many times Abhiraj's brother asked her to make a call to Abhiraj and talk with them but she denied everytime.

From the last month, she was not even taking food properly that added to her deteriorating health.

It was like she knew her deeds were wrong towards Meera and she was regretting it. Her deeds had costed her staying away from her son as well as her grandchildren.

But it was her ego that was coming in between . It was not letting her apologize to Meera or Atleast make a call to them. She thought her son has fight with her and left the house. So he should be the one coming back to her. Because she is elder, and elder don't apologize or bend in from of their kids.
