"W...What?" Chaeryeong turned around to look at Jisu.
"Yejun. She's the killer, isn't it?" a stern expression appeared on the older girl's face. "What are you saying?"
"Answer my question."
"Unnie. She took really good care of me. She even saved—"
"You're being protective, Lee Chaeryeong," Jisu uttered in a low voice. The girl gulped, she felt her heart beating rapidly and all of a sudden she didn't know how to respond.
"Chaeryeong. You're on the wrong side. Your father, he was- He was killed! A-And Seonju? Just what has she been doing things on you to the point you're like this right now?!"
"What if it's another way around?" the younger spoke and clenched her jaw in nervousness, her voice cracked and tears were about to spill from her eyes. "What?... *shakes her head* Just what are you talking—"
"There are things hidden that we don't know about, Jisu unnie. I'm sorry to disappoint, but, *sighs* I won't be picking on a side, not even Yejun's until I know the real, hidden truth."

"Just where did father hide it?" Chaeryeong mumbled softly as she searched around Lee Hyun's office room.
She had been finding that one DNA test document that was used as proof that she and Lee Hyun were blood-related 8 years ago.
"I have to find it back out." she thought.
From the bookshelves to the cabinet, she had searched every single corner of them, however it was like the document had never existed. Her eyes wandered around the room, and a hint flashed through her mind. "The drawer that was always locked?"
"Father has never allowed anyone to touch this drawer... Even I can't go close to it," she muttered as she took the key that was kept in a small box on the desk. "Hope this key works..."
And the drawer was unlocked.
Chaeryeong pulled open the drawer, and there she saw a brown paper file that had the hospital logo on it. She took and opened the file, where there were two documents.
She read the first document and saw the proof where it was written that they were blood-related. But as soon as she read the second document which she thought was probably just a copy, she was wrong.
They weren't blood-related.
"I-It was a lie all the time..." she spoke in disbelief, staring at the faked document.

Chaeryeong rushed downstairs and was heading to the outside, wearing a black cap and a face mask, to prevent being recognized. Jisu saw and sensed something was off. "Where are you going?"
"I'm heading out."
"To?"
"To her. And please, don't think of stopping me." the younger said and went out without waiting for the latter's reply. Jisu sighed and frowned, "Just what is up with this girl?"

Chaeryeong planned to head back to Yeji's basement, she needed an answer and the assassin was the only one who could provide what she wanted to know.
She was walking along the streets but felt thirsty after a while so she decided to stop by a store for a bottle of water. After paying and taking a drink of it, she continued on her path but soon, she was alerted by her surroundings.
It felt like someone was following behind her.
She acted like nothing happened, but deep down inside she couldn't just shrug off the panic of her. "I'm probably just thinking too much..."
The girl fastened her walking pace but she felt someone getting closer to her. Her heartbeat quickened and she spoke to herself quietly, "Just keep walking, Chaeryeong... Just keep—"
A man approached her from the side and knocked her out by hitting the back of her head, hard. Then she was dragged into the alley...
