Chapter 19: Reunion

Jane's POV:

"Where's Sebastian?" Sir Troy asked when he noticed that my vice president is missing... Again.

I sighed before boredly looking at him. He should know by now that no one, not even the dean, can make Seb do something he doesn't want. And that includes attending these meetings.

"Don't know. Haven't seen him in days." Sagot ko naman.

Which is true, I haven't seen him for 3 days now. Last I heard he was training Abigail in the forest. God knows what happened to them.

Napangisi ako sa mga naiisip kong posibleng manyari sa dalawang iyon. Clearly those two likes each other but they don't even know it themselves.

Funny how Sebastian doesn't even notice that he acts differently around Abby. Knowing him, those tiny details shouldn't have missed his senses.

"Don't worry about him. He's still inside the camp."

Napatingin kaming lahat nang magsalita si Dean. This man is full of mysteries. He clearly died on the day of the attack yet here he is. Smiling like a child in front of us.

"True, what we should worry about is how to reclaim the university. We cannot let those demons roam free!" Said one member of the faculty.

I don't bother remembering their names. There's too much of them. Besides, not everyone of them will stay here.

"I've already contacted some alumnis and they agreed to help." Madam Sol said as she handed us lists of people who agreed to help.

Some of these people are noteworthy. They are the best students that the university had in its early years.

"I've contacted some of our allies too. With enough compensations, they will help." She added.

If you thought that only demons, angels, and humans lives in this world then you're wrong. There are other beings but most of them falls under the 'human' category. It just so happened that they have mystical abilities.

The most prominent of them are Demon Hunters. They hunt demons for a living and they hold incredible amount of skill and power.

"Wait, why are there berserkers in this list?" I was about to ask the same question when the president of the Cherubs asked.

His name is Silver. He is known for his wits and knowledge. And his cold demeanor always strikes fear in some students.

Cherubs are the second strongest class in the university. And some of them can even match up to us, and that includes Silver.

"Those two volunteered." Sagot naman ni Dean nang nakangiti.

I frowned. Berserkers? Volunteered to help us? Since when are they friendly to any other people aside from their own?

They are bloodthirsty warmongers. Maybe they volunteered just for the thrill of the war. I will never understand them nor do I want to.

The meeting continued on. We've discussed the plans to reclaim the university. And honestly, I'm not very optimistic. Most of our students are afraid. And those who are not are bedridden.

Lots of our top brass are also dead. And there's hardly anyone who can match up to Belphegor. We should pray that that guy haven't decided to summon another demon king.

As soon as I got out of that room, I sighed heavily. The faculty is impatient and Dean doesn't seem to have any plans of stopping them. God knows what's going inside his head right now.
