The mountains were probably the last place he'd like to be at. A frown right on his face as he starts unpacking his belongings. He still can't believe his father made him move in with his mother and step-father.
Absolutely ridiculous!
He passes a hand through his hair, slightly pulling at it. Getting so frustrated.
How does his father think he'll be able to live here!? It's fucking freezing! There are mountains and it looks like those places where all you'll get is rain and snow!
If anything it literally looks like where Twilight took place!
Jimin groans, falling to his new bed. Unconsciously playing with his ring. He sits up, attention fully on the ring now. He sighs. The dark shiny purple ring his grandmother gifted him before she passed four years ago. He still has it and now it fits him perfectly.
'Why couldn't I have stayed with you? Everything would have been so much better grandma.' His thoughts get interrupted by the knock on the door.
"Come in."
"Hey. Just making sure the unpacking is going alright." His mother says with an awkward smile.
It's not that they haven't seen each other in years. When he was younger, his mother would call home. Grandmother would pass him the phone and they would talk. Nothing interesting though, just the same old 'how are you?', 'how have you been?', 'I hope you are well.' The one he got the most was 'Hey Jimin remember me?' oh yes how he detested that one.
Supposedly she had found a better job here and her and his father had divorced before that, so she decided to move. She said she would come back and get Jimin though, so he kept his hopes high. Hoping to reunite with his mother. Though that didn't end well. She would call at least once a week, which changed to twice every three weeks, which later on ended up being once a month.
To say he was hurt was probably an understatement. He remembers bawling his eyes out for his mother who never came. That was when he was younger though, way younger. As he grew, he got super close to his grandmother which ended up being the mother figure he needed. She would create many things for him throughout the days to keep him occupied but full with joy. They lived towards the South so each summer his father, grandmother, and he would go to the beach. He would collect many shells and bring them to her who would be sitting near the shore. He would love getting praises from her. It would always make him feel so warm inside. So loved.
His father was also amazing. He went through heartbreak with his mother so Jimin would try to cheer him up every time he would see his father tearing up at night. His father would go to work all the time but he still came back each day with some food or a toy he bought for Jimin.
To say the least, Jimin was practically spoiled. He loves them both dearly and will continue to even if they are no longer on this planet physically.
Well his father still is and as much as he loves him, he would personally hit him with a branch right now. Why the hell would he send him away to his mother's if he knew what happened?! Makes no sense!
"It's going fine."
His mother clasps her hands.
"Great! If you need anything remember I'm here. Also your step-father is here too."
"Uhuh. I'll keep that in mind." Jimin gives her a tight smile.
Before she leaves she stands by the door.
"Uh Jimin? I hope you know I missed you."
He looks at her and purses his lips.
"I'll get back to unpacking now. Thank you." He says, voice not wavering at all.
