Chapter 45: Sore

Softly smiling at the pair beside the heat rooms Taehyung turns around when his nose catches onto a scent he's way too familiar with.

"So they're finally together?" The alpha asks as he points with his chin towards the beta and omega who were busy smiling at each other. Taehyung can only fondly smile at them as he shakes his head.

"I don't think officially but close enough." He says which only causes Yoongi to chuckle.

"About time. I can't even count on my fingers the amount of times I literally walked in on them flirting." He adds.

Taehyung smiles and hesitates to speak but decides to do it anyway.

"Almost like you and I right?" He unconsciously holds his breath waiting for an answer which the alpha gives when he turns to look at him.

"Almost, but not quite, we just tend to hide it more."

A small shy smile spreads on the omega's lips as he looks away.

"We should step it up then." Taehyung says as his smile grows even more when the older leans closer to him before he responds.

"We should."

He was nervous. Very very nervous actually. He tried not to show it and honestly it was going fine until he officially entered the room his boyfriend's father was standing in.

Jungkook knew it was gonna be fine and to not worry but he couldn't help but feel slightly stressed and thought it was going to worsen bit by bit but in reality, nothing like that happened. Instead he was met with a soft relaxed gaze. A gaze that not only came from the man but a much softer one mixed with adoration came from his lover which only warmed the alpha. Turning back to the elder Jungkook bows but instantly is surprised when he is hugged which only causes him to hug back.

"Nice to meet you Jungkook-ssi. I'm sure you know who I am but you can call me Park." The father says as he pulls away with a smile.

Still slightly baffled Jungkook nods before he introduces himself although the man already knew who he was.

"Mr. Park it's great to finally meet you, I'm Jungkook, Jimin's boyfriend." The alpha greets with a proud smile on his face, really liking how it felt announcing that he was dating the prettiest boy on the planet. The only one he will love till the end of the world.

"So you're the one who's made my son reek huh?"

Jimin groans as he tells his father to quit it only for Jungkook to grin.

"Yes. Yes I am."

Mr. Park chuckles at that and sits down before the others follow.

To say they spend a long time talking was probably a lie but it really did feel like that. They talked about the situations regarding the wolves and vampires, how the couple met, Jimin's transformation, Jungkook's family and even Yunho as well. The older was so easy to talk to that Jungkook could see himself going to him for advice and such in the future if he ever needed it.

Honestly it was just a huge relief. He was relieved that in the end Jimin's father accepted him and not just that but also Jimin and him.

He was more than happy that both him and Jimin could live together and have people who support them on both ends. It wasn't something he actually thought could happen due to him having strict parents but in the end life is just full of surprises huh.

"Now as you may know I'm not from around here so if I stay any longer I fear I will freeze to death."

Jimin rolls his eyes at his dramatic father but still gets up to pass him his coat. Jungkook chuckles but gets up as well.
