Chapter 34: You Came

The alpha shakes his head when he gets that feeling again. Throughout the whole night he couldn't sleep because of a certain someone. The same one he was dying to see and calm down after he ran out of his house but unfortunately he was stopped. He didn't want to cause any problems with his father nor brother therefore he kept quiet throughout the small party they did for his brother but now he's awake and he thinks he might die if he doesn't go to Jimin this instant. His wolf was howling all night and he just can't take it anymore. He needs to go and reassure his omega that everything is fine. That he's-

He turns when the door opens.

He hates that he feels this way right now but he can't help but let out a small growl when he smells his mother enter.

Her scent is making him agitated, way different to when it used to make him so happy and relaxed.

"I see you're already up." She comments, she knew he'd be awake and so she just wants to talk to him. To explain the things she said yesterday.

"I have somewhere to be." He states.

She nods, understanding the cold tone he's using.

"Kook-ah look I just-"

"Mother I really don't want to talk right now, someone else needs me and that's exactly where I am heading."

She sighs.

"Did something happen to Jimin? Is he ok?"

He furrows his brows.

"Yeah he's perfectly fine after you made him stress over everything you said yesterday." He spits.

"Jungkook that wasn't my intention-"

"Well what did you expect?! Did you think he would thank you after you practically said he wasn't needed anymore because you paired me up with someone else?!"

He watches as his mother's eyes slightly widen when he raises his voice.

"I- I never said that-"

"That's exactly how it sounded."

She gulps, her lips turn down into a frown.

Jungkook sighs with a shake of his head.

"Look mom I really wanted to make you happy. I didn't want to disappoint you in anything I did that's why I listened to you all the time. I did everything you asked and even more because I was afraid you'd look down on me if I made a single mistake."

Her frown deepens.

"Kook-"

"But I can't do this. I can't be the next leader of this pack. I can't mate with whoever you guys want. I can't follow the tradition. I won't. I won't do any of it." He states more clearly.

"I hate that it took this for me to truly come to terms with myself but I'm glad I finally could."

She gives him a confused look.

He looks up at her with a determined look.

"I love you and dad very much but you can't control me. You can't control my life, I won't let you. I really like Jimin so much I might even be in love with him which might sound crazy for you I mean even for me too but that's how I feel and nothing will change that. I don't even know if he feels the same way but I will tell him and ask for a chance to prove my worth to him. I will try because he means so much to me. He makes me so happy and I don't think I will be able to live with myself if I don't tell him how I feel.
