Chapter 30: What If

That day his mother came in and left him some food. He woke up to a cup of juice and two sandwiches. Jimin was beyond baffled that his mother would do this but nonetheless he ate it all. He texted Taehyung saying he won't make it and to tell Hoseok he's sorry. Jimin also told him that if it was possible to check up on Yunho which Tae gladly did. Before he hung up the omega asked if everything was ok and Jimin obviously answered with a 'yeah, just tired' to which Taehyung didn't question. The next day Jimin got a text from the vampire. It was around six in the morning.

Kai: get ready

Me: I already told you I'm not doing it

Kai: well that's too bad

Jimin startles as the leech appears in his room.

"Because I'm already here." Kai smirks.

"Well sucks for you because I'm not doing it. You're not even supposed to be here." The omega states as he buries himself in his blanket.

Sighing the vampire sits on the chair.

"Just because some bitchass rug tells me to leave doesn't mean I'll do it."

"Don't call him that." Jimin huffs as he sits up.

The vampire tilts his head.

"What did I hurt your feelings because I called your alpha a bitchass rug?"

"He's my friend so don't call him that you bastard." The omega spits.

The taller narrows his eyes as Jimin glares back.

Huffing he turns to the window.

"Whatever, hurry and get dressed. Your father said to do it now as many will still be sleeping."

Jimin was about to protest until he mentioned his father.

Biting back the insults he was going to throw he huffs and gets up.

The alpha groans as he rolls over on his bed.

Taehyung had left a couple hours later after a short nap and Jungkook didn't leave his home the whole day.

Now that it's the next day, he gets up and furrows his brows when he smells something. The scent very familiar yet he can't put a name to it. Slowly opening his eyes he looks around the dark room and squints when the lights turn on.

"Finally up?"

Jungkook stills when the voice speaks up.

The same low but playful voice he used to hear all the time when they were younger. The same one that would scold him or laugh at stupid jokes they would make.

Looking up his eyes widen the moment they land on the tall muscular wolf with a small smirk and dark brown hair.

"Junghyun!" He gasps, quickly standing up he wraps his arms around his brother.

The older chuckles as he hugs him back.

"Nice to see you too."

Jungkook smiles big and wide.

"When did you return?! I didn't see you!"

"It's been a day I'd say. We came during the night so I wasn't able to see you. Then yesterday I was occupied with father and-"

"We?" The younger's eyes slightly widen.

"You actually mated?"

The older smiles.

"Yeah, her name is Yuna."

The hope Jungkook had deep within slowly crumbles.

"Y- you're no longer eligible." The younger says.
