Before the human even sat down beside him, his nose picked up on a fruity scent. It's very faint but he can smell a bit of blackberries. It's such an enticing scent that he rarely smells at home. All the omegas and betas there smell like a type of flower or a very sweet fruit. It's not bad but it can be too much at times.
Once the human fully sits down, Jungkook holds back the urge to sigh. His assumes it's the boy's perfume, but he really smells like blackberries. It's sweet but with an earthy undertone. His wolf very pleased.
He also picks up on something else though, the human's scent slightly sour too.
Why would the blackberries change smell though if it's only a perfume?
Once Taehyung spoke, Jungkook's attention shifted to the omega.
"Did you get the banana milk?"
"Oh right Jimin got it."
"Huh?"
Finally connecting the dots, Jungkook turns towards the boy beside him. He lifts his arm about to take the milk.
"Here." Jimin speaks.
Grabbing it, he quickly sets it down when the blackberries sour even more. Furrowing his brows he places his hand on the humans back.
"You okay?" Jungkook asks.
His wolf becoming unsettled.
"Jimin are you okay? Does it hurt again?"
Again? Has the human been in pain already today?
"Uh yeah. Just hurts a little." Jimin breathes out.
A little? It doesn't seem that way.
"You don't smell ok." He speaks.
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Jungkook finally sees the face of the boy as the human turns to him.
"You smell sick." He states, watching as the boy furrows his brows even more.
"What he means is that you look and sound sick Jimin. Let me take you to the nurse please."
Jungkook's wolf instantly not liking that at all, the human is basically vulnerable right now so taking him to the nurse and leaving him there is not an option. He needs to help him but how?
His wolf now gnawing, wanting to do something, anything!
"Taehyung I'm fine really. School is almost over, I think I can handle-"
Jungkook stills as his body begins to release calming pheromones.
This is done when they want to help ease distressed or hurt wolves, especially omegas. Wolves only tend to do this to others in their family or their mates.
Everyone's eyes widen at the sudden action from the alpha, scrunching their nose as the smell of cedarwood fills the air. They watch as the human's troubled face eases, and notice how his sour stench lessens.
Jungkook did you just-" Taehyung shocked as he can't even finish his question.
"I don't- it just happened." The werewolf explains. He himself is surprised at what he did.
They look back at Jimin who is no longer hunching over.
"Yeah I'm feeling much better now." Jimin breathes out hazily.
Jungkook slowly retracts his hand from behind the human.
Did he help him? Did it work? How if he's not a wolf?
