Chapter 20: Meeting

The omega lies on his bed staring at the ceiling. Jungkook had just left a couple minutes ago, he had gotten a call from Jin saying they needed him for something so sadly he had to leave.

Though he did enjoy the alpha's presence, Jimin was still thankful the older called. Jimin was about to bring up the night when he got bitten but got interrupted by the call. He had instantly sighed as the alpha's phone rang.

Before Jungkook leaves he gives him a small smile.

"Let's talk later okay?"

Jimin nods with a faint smile of his own.

"See you."

The omega sighs, getting out of his thoughts and extends himself to get his phone and goes to lie back down.

Going to the search bar he stares at it.

Then starts typing.

'Scenting'

Nothing useful appears so he tries again.

'Animal scenting'

He finds some information but doesn't explain much more than he already knows.

And so he tries again.

'Werewolf scenting'

Jimin chuckles as he presses search, not believing he really typed that.

Now he does find something.

He reads:

'Like in all werewolf stories, these creatures are known to have different types of scents and have a strong sense of smell.-'

The omega scans the paragraph, trying to find the right piece.

'Scent-marking or scenting is practiced a lot within werewolves. They do this usually to claim their territory. Alphas are mostly known for this due to them being very territorial at times. Scenting is also done with their pups and mate to let others know who they belong to. Scenting is classified as very intimate and known for only doing it with those who you truly care about. That's why it is normal for families to scent each other.

Omegas and betas also practice scenting with whom they please. Omegas tend to scent a lot of their pups since it provides them comfort. Betas even with a soft scent like their significant others smelling like them too.'

Jimin keeps reading but doesn't find anything else. He now understands a bit more but that didn't really answer his questions.

How do they scent?

If he remembers correctly, he used to have a book that explained some of that but it only said wolves basically caress each other. Then somehow they end up smelling like the other? But how?

Jimin slowly sits up examining his body.

The alpha with doe eyes popping up in his mind.

The omega gulps.

Jungkook... scented him that night, right?

He stares off, his mind reliving what happened.

He remembers experiencing pain in his lower region. His groin. Growing more hot and wet by the second. Then the alpha appears all naked in front of him as he had just shifted.

Yeah Jimin remembers. He remembers perfectly when Jungkook noses along his neck. Cedarwood exploding in his face, causing him to release a load of slick.

A stuttering breath escapes Jimin's lips. Just the memories themselves heat his body. He softly passes a hand over his neck. The side where the alpha pressed his nose all around.
