Chapter 38: Ire

The house was dark and empty when he arrived. There was not single sound he heard other than his own steps as he made his way up the stairs. It was quiet and chilly. His mother and stepfather nowhere to be found yet he doesn't have it in him to care one bit. He's actually glad they aren't here to see him walk in all tired and sulky.

Finally stopping himself from biting on his bottom him he releases a long sigh and locks the door to his room once he enters.

When Jungkook dropped him off he immediately left without either of them saying bye to each other. The alpha didn't even look his way as he only waited for the omega to close his truck's door before he backed out of the driveway way and left. As much as Jimin didn't want to talk to the older he still had the biggest urge to turn back and call out to him. His wolf and him both hurting. They wanted Jungkook. They needed him closer yet he knew that wasn't possible.

Even though he was hurting he knew there was nothing he could do.

Nothing he was brave enough to do so instead he just went straight inside.

It was very cold already and the sun was starting to set. He released a shaky breath once he laid his eyes on his bed, trying his best from stopping the tears that were building in his eyes. He's not sure why but for reason he felt extra sensitive right now and just wanted to lie in bed as he cried himself to sleep. Something he had done way too often now that he thinks about it.

Not even a second later he furrows his brows when he hears a noise that he assumes came from the bathroom. Becoming a bit scared the omega takes the vase made of glass and slowly starts walking towards the bathroom. As he's about to look in the room he almost releases a scream when he sees who it is.

"What the hell is wrong with you?! Why are you in my bathroom?!" Jimin scolds as he sets down the vase.

His eyes losing it's shine from the unshed tears as he goes from feeling gloomy to annoyed.

The vampire's eyes light up in excitement and relief once he sees the werewolf. Without saying a word he is quick to wraps his arms around the smaller one making Jimin's eyes widen. He spins him in the air once before the smaller is shoving him away which Kai doesn't even care about.

"Don't touch me you stink!" Jimin complains as he scrunches his nose.

The vampire audibly sighs as he turns to look at himself in the bathroom mirror.

"I can finally talk again." He sighs with a smirk making Jimin furrow his eyebrows in confusion, slowly forgetting about earlier.

"What do you mean?"

The vampire's eyes turn to look at the smaller one through the mirror.

"Can't believe all it took was you. Thought the witches were bluffing." He scowls.

"Are you going to fucking explain because I have no idea what the hell is happening?" Jimin says getting irritated, his scent souring.

Rolling his eyes the vampire walks out the bathroom and into the room to sit on the bed.

"Long story short I went to go see the witches while you were gone. It was at the beginning of the week, then they fucking found me! I don't know how but they put a fucking spell on me and so I had to sit here all week waiting for you to get back and touch me in order to get my voice back. Stupid if you ask me."

Jimin just stares at him with a baffled expression. Although he was going to question the witches he can't really since he is a werewolf so anything is possible really. Either way he doesn't understand why it was him who had to touch the vampire.

"Why me though?"

Kai sighs.

"You were the other person who touched the symbol. The one that you found and gave to me. Since it was from the witches, it meant it was under some spell or something. Look now that you're here we have to go." The vampire says as he gets up and fixes his clothes.

Jimin frowns.

"Uh go where?"

Looking out the window Kai huffs as he sees the small particles falling from the sky.

Snow... great.

"Well once they took the symbol from me they noticed that more than one person had touched it. I'm guessing they know who touched it other than us so they put a spell on me which broke after you touched me. They said to come back with you and maybe then they will hear what we have to say. That's why we have to go now since it's a bit of a long way, especially with all the snow and shit." Kai explains as he checks his pockets.

"I-I am not going. I don't think my father would let me go talk to some witches who could easily harm me." Jimin states as he narrows his eyes at the vampire.

Kai rolls his eyes while he opens the window to head out.

"Who do you think took you to the heat rooms? Who helped you stop clawing at your abdomen? Who basically saved your life? Me. I did. Without me you would have probably bled out and died but fortunately you didn't because I was there."

Jimin bites the inside of his cheek as he glares at the taller. Finally having found the start of all this mess he was put in.

"Why did you have to take me over there?! That was probably the most stupidest decision you have ever made! Because of you I fucking ruined my friendship with- with someone who has become so important to me-"

"Jimin I seriously don't have fucking time to argue with you right now. I did what you asked so you have no right to get mad at me for something you asked for! None of us have time alright? Now go get dressed because we have somewhere to be."

"How did I even ask for-"

"Can you just fucking listen for once and hurry up so we can leave!? People might be in danger right now and as much as I hate werewolves, I don't hate them enough to watch them die one by one for who knows why! Your father and I are trying our best here to figure this shit out so please cooperate!"

Jimin not sure how to respond. He slightly stumbles over his words until they get stuck in his throat the moment his eyes land on the boy outside his window.

Kai doesn't even have time to dodge the other resulting in him getting harshly slammed against the wall with a hand wrapped around his neck.

The omega with wide eyes stands still in shock. Not sure what to even do. The alpha's strong pheromones in the air making his wolf whimper, making him want to submit while it also is yelling at him to calm his alpha down.

He didn't even hear or smell the boy enter the house so the vampire was completely not expecting for someone to throw him against the wall. The wolf's grip on him tightening when he tries to move.

"Don't ever get near Jimin again." Jungkook grits out.

Kai clenches his jaw as he uses enough strength to kick the other in the stomach which successfully pushes the other off him but seems as if didn't even hurt him.

"I don't listen to dogs."

Jungkook's eyes shine red in anger as the vampire narrows his eyes at him, readying himself to fight the other. Both of them not expecting when they get splashed with water.

The alpha's red eyes changing back to it's natural color the second he looks at the omega, only now realizing Jimin's strong sour scent from distress. Although he seems to be trying his best to hide it, that doesn't stop Jungkook from releasing his pheromones that instantly have an effect on the omega. Even if it didn't fully take away his sour scent it still caused him to calm down a bit.

Jungkook wanted to give Jimin a bit of space since his scent was strong right now but he just couldn't when the omega turned to him with sad eyes. His eyes showing longing and desperation that both felt the longer they looked at each other, Jimin's sour scent once again making it's way to his nose even through the amount of pheromones Jungkook released.

The alpha couldn't take it any longer.

With two big steps he closed the distance between them. Jimin releasing a small whimper the moment he wrapped his arms around the other. The smaller's brows pinched together as he held tightly onto the alpha, seeking his warmth and calming scent he missed so, so much.
