My name is Brooke Codona Dragomir Constantin. I thought I had the most normal life and normal job until I realized that I truly didn't. Throughout the chaos I have found myself and met the man of my dreams.

Though there was a lot of pain through it all, I have came so much stronger because of it.

There were things happening around me that I had been completely blind to. Things involving families, loyalty, power, betrayal, and secrets that went deeper than I could have ever imagined. And somehow, I became part of it.
I didn't ask for it.
I didn't go looking for it.
But once the truth found me, there was no way to go back to the person I used to be.

I lost people along the way.
I lost pieces of myself too.
There were nights when I questioned everything.
Who I could trust.
Who I should fear.
Whether the people I loved were actually protecting me or simply keeping me in the dark.

There were moments when I wanted to run.
To disappear.
To go back to that girl who thought her biggest problems were work, relationships, and figuring out what she wanted to do with her life.
But that girl didn't exist anymore.
Because somewhere in all the chaos, I found myself.
The real me.
The stronger me.
The woman I didn't know I was capable of becoming.

And then there was Sin.

Loving him wasn't simple. Nothing about us was simple.

And I've survived a lot.
More than I ever thought I would.

There were moments when I didn't recognize myself anymore.
But when I look in the mirror now, I don't see the scared girl who once thought she had a normal life.

I see Brooke.
Brooke Codona Dragomir Constantin.
A woman who has been broken, rebuilt, tested, loved, betrayed, and changed.
A woman who has scars that may never completely disappear.

But I'm no longer ashamed of them.
They remind me of everything I've survived.
Everything I've overcome.
Everything I've become.
My life may not be normal.
It never was.
And maybe it never will be.

But standing beside the man I love, surrounded by the people who became my family, I finally understand something.
I wouldn't change it.
Not the pain.
Not the chaos.
Not even the heartbreak.
Because every piece of it brought me here.
To him.
To myself.

To the woman I was always meant to become.
And for the first time in my life, I wasn't afraid of what came next.
I was ready.

Marriage was nothing like I imagined it would be.
Then again, neither was my life.
