Chapter 35: Destiny

Normal POV

"ITS A TIE!!!" Chapati screamed on the mike. The whole arena shook in applause.

The Fairy Tail members shouting with joy.

Other guilds clapping.

But something wasn't right. Nastu, Lucy, Gray, and Gajeel weren't doing anything, they didn't look as cheerful as the people around them.

They thought everything was fine until all four dropped on the ground, unconscious, looking limp and lifeless!

"Emergency!" A guard shouted.

The audience were flooded with confuse looks.

"What happened?" Laxus asked himself before walking towards the infirmary.

"Something's wrong." Erza crossed her arms as she watched her comrades being taken to the infirmary.

"Juvia will be by your side Gray-sama!" A worried Juvia screamed.

"Nastu-san, Lucy-san, Gray-san, Gajeel-san. Hang in there." Wendy said unsure of what's really going on.

Lisanna was leaning on a wall looking at her boyfriend being taken away. When Lisanna saw Lucy she had a wide smirk.

"Phase Three is complete" She mumbled before heading to the infirmary.

Unknown to her a little blue haired girl and a blonde haired man heard what she said.

Lucy, Gray, Natsu, and Gajeel were in the infirmary, bandages were covered all over them.

"I'm glad their alright." Erza spoke up looking at her wounded comrades.

"Of course they're alright." Laxus said to Erza.

"Juvia gives her thanks to Wendy too." Juvia said watching Gray.

"No, I didn't do much." Wendy shook her head and watched Lisanna who was sitting beside Natsu.

"You did a lot child you better get some rest." Charles assured Wendy, who nodded in reply.

"Nastu...." Happy said sadly. "He'll be alright." Lisanna reassured, but Happy already went to Lucy, avoiding Lisanna.

After a while Lucy stirred awake.

"Lucy, Are you alright?" Erza asked Lucy, who was scanning the room.

"What happened?" She asked.

Laxus and Erza shared a nod. Then they told Lucy everything. "Really?" Lucy scrunched her forehead, trying to remember.

"I don't remember coming out from a portal or doing a unison raid but I only remember a bright light, then I guess I went black." She pressed her pointer finger and middle against her forehead.

"What? But how can you cast a powerful spell unconsciously?" Erza asked surprised at what she heard.

"Beats me, are the others alright?" Lucy asked them looking at her injured companions.

"The doctor says they're fine. You should rest too, tomorrow is the final day." Erza said smiling at Lucy.

Lucy smiled back with a hint of guilt but Erza didn't notice. After a while Lucy fell asleep and the rest walked out of the infirmary.

What the rest didn't know is that all four were still awake. Lucy, Gajeel, Gray, and Natsu all sat up.

"I didn't want to lie to them, but they shouldn't know." Lucy said.
