Chapter 23: Juvia vs Lyon! Is there new found love?

Lucy's POV

While Eve was being taken to the infirmary...............

"Now let's get back on track with the final match up for today and it's............Lyon Vastia of Lamia Scale vs Juvia Loxar of Fairy Tail Team B!" Chapati announces.

"J-Juvia is going to face Lyon?" Juvia asked hesitantly.

"It's alright Juvia, you're going to be fine." I reassured her while patting her back.

"Just smash his pride to pieces and you'll be just fine." Gajeel gave some.....uhhh......friendly advice.

"Yeah and beat him to a pulp!" Laxus said in a strong manner frightening Juvia.

"Look what both of you did to the poor girl." Mira stated while giving the two men an earful.

"You'll be fine Juvia, now good luck!" I told her before giving her a light push.

"Arigatou Lucy!" She called out then went to the battle field.

She finally didn't call me Love Rival

Normal POV

Juvia and Lyon were at the battle field, ready to fight.

"You look lovely today Juvia-chan~" Lyon said in a sing song voice.

"Juvia has her eyes only on Gray-sama!" Juvia said.

In a far away distance you could even hear Gray groan.

"Ughhhh! Not this crap again." Gray mentally face palmed but his face says like he wants to do a face table.

"Let the match begin-kabo!" Mato said.

"Juvia no hard feelings but I'm going to win this match for Lamia Scale!" Lyon declared.

"Juvia feels the same way!" Juvia said attacking Lyon.

"Water Cyclone!"

"Ice Make: Snow Dragon!"

The attacks collided and it exploded, therefore turning into smoke.

"Juvia cannot see anything." Juvia said while covering her face.

"Ice Make: Snow Tiger!" Then a huge tiger came running up to Juvia!

"Kyyyaahhhhh!" Juvia screamed while being pushed away and crashed into a wall, which then made a crater.

"Juvia are you alright? Sorry for being rough." Lyon said approaching Juvia.

'Being........rough?...........*imagines something in mind*' Juvia thought to herself then immediately became like a human tomato.

"Juvia are you alright?" Lyon asked.

'No! No Juvia must only think about it with Gray-sama!' Juvia declared in her mind.

"Water Jigsaw!" She faced her palm in front of Lyon then a lot of cone-shaped water attacks were aiming in Lyon's direction.

"Ice Make: Wings!" Lyon was able to dodge it in time but had a few cuts.

"Sneak attack, very nice Juvia-chan!" Lyon said amusingly.

Juvia blushed slightly, she still did not recover the imaginary scene that was playing in her mind.

"Water Pillar!" Juvia chanted then a pillar went straight towards Lyon and trapped him in boiling water.

"It's hot!" He exclaimed quickly but then recovered.
