Chapter 28: Game 2- Toss it Out

Normal POV

Lucy, Gray, Rogue, Millianna, Obra, Chelia, Ren, and Warcray sprouted wings, they all looked surprised since they were dragged into the air in an instant, the pattern of their new wings were designed according to their magic skills and abilities. So you can get the picture.

While the opposite pairs were on the ground watching the arena turn into a deserted island, and the contestants were separated but the pairs stuck together, one in the air and one on land. Though it was deserted the island was full of plants and trees, like a jungle.

Gajeel's POV

"Tch, these items are ridiculous, where the hell would I find a towel that that's says 'Eat Me Alive' in this secluded area...." I could see Lucy following me from above, they weren't allowed to come near, so yeah she had to stay there.

"Now where do I find a towel.......uhh! All this thinking is hurting my head, argh brain cramps!" I said holding my head like it was about to explode.

Normal POV

The audience was watching and cheering for the competitors.

Chapati then made a huge announcement. "They can't hear us from here and all of them have the same items on their list. If one of them reaches the wanted item first then they get a point."

The crowd still cheered louder even if they can't hear them.

"I hope Lucy and Gajeel and Gray and Natsu will be alright." Mira said holding her cheek. "Ahh they'll be just fine, don't worry." Laxus comforted her. "They are Fairy Tail wizards after all." Juvia added. The two smiled, while Laxus just smirked.

At the other side of the arena.

"Those to make a fine pair." Erza said watching the two, Gray and Natsu.

"I'm not sure about that." Wendy said to herself so she wouldn't anger Erza. "Tch it should have been me." Lisanna said quietly more like a whisper so no one would hear but the little sky dragon slayer heard it all too well.

Lucy's POV

"Gotta look out for competitors. Though I can't reach him, I can shout when there is someone coming." When I looked in a distance I saw something black. It was in the right side, I squinted my eyes to look at it closer. I was shocked at what I saw.

"Gajeel be careful!"

Gajeel's POV

"Gajeel be careful!" I heard Lucy scream. When I looked at my right, a black kind of fog was coming. "Damnit!" I started running for my life if Lucy told me to be careful then I will. Who knows what's in that fog or mist.

Normal POV

"Well that's not part of the challenge...." Chapati said a little alarmed. "Hmm maybe it was a surprise?" Yajima-san said but there was something about Yajima that said he knew what's happening.

"Black magic..." Org whispered to himself.

"Gwahhh!" On the lacrima it seems that Natsu got hit! Gray was calling out to him from above and he tried to get down but he was stopped by a force.

"I'm alright." Natsu said a bit shaken. "Natsu!" Everyone in Fairy Tail screamed. Causing the audience to snicker. "Pathetic" was how they described Fairy Tail. When Org examined the other contestants it only seems that the Fairy Tail players were being affected.

"Hmm so you had the guts to show your magic after all, haah" Org said. Chapati didn't understand but Yajima-san was angry and worried at the same time, for he knew what was Org talking about.
