The morning light shone through the small gaps in the curtains, leaving small streaks of light through the room. I try to shift in the bed, but there was something heavy on my waist. That's when I felt something stir behind me, my eyes snapped open and I turned around, coming face to face with those grey eyes. It was Henry. My gaze softened and I gave him a tired smile.

"Good morning, beautiful." He said huskily.

Goddess. That voice. I could listen to him talking all day and I could get lost in his eyes. I got so lost in my own head that I forget to answer.

"Hey, what's going on in that pretty little head of yours?" He asked, placing his fingers under my chin.

"Nothing, Henry. Morning." I say, burying my head into his chest. I was drowning in his scent. Citrus

I smile as he wraps his arms around me, pulling me to him tighter. We lay in silence for a while, just enjoying each other's company. Odette and Henry's wolf, Zeus, were content being close to each other. Having three mates was going to be a challenge. I already knew that. What could go wrong? Jealousy? Fights? They already seem possessive? How was I going to share my time between them? I take in a deep breath and let out a heavy sigh. Henry seemed to notice my change in mood and started rubbing my back soothingly.

"Hey, I know it's a bit of a shock. It wasn't fair on you for Oliver to take you so suddenly, or marking you without your consent. We didn't want you to find out about our titles so suddenly either. That's enough of a shock in itself, but you are going to be our Queen. We'll try and ease you into things as much as we can. We need to introduce you to the pack too. We can give you a month or so to settle in and find your feet, and then you can start picking up some light duties. How does that sound?" He asked.

I pick my head up and look up at him. "Henry. It's a lot to take in. I-I don't know." I say, hesitating. "I know I'll have to pick things up eventually, can we take things slow? We need to sort everything out between us too." I say and he nods.

"I understand. I'll talk to Theo and Ollie." He said, his hand still rubbing my back.

"Thank you." I say, burying my face back into his chest, while he buried his in the crook of my neck, breathing in my scent.

After a couple of moments of silence, Henry decided to speak up. "Shall we go and get some breakfast, sweetheart?" He asked.

I nod. "Yeah, can I have a quick shower before?" I ask, and he nods.

"Of course, sweetheart. There's some spare towels in the cabinet, we still don't have any of your clothes, they should be arriving today. You know where the closet is, there's plenty of my clothes that you can borrow." He said, placing a sot kiss on my forehead, the sparks .

"Thank you." I smile at the small gesture and butterflies erupt in my stomach. I met him yesterday, and he already has this effect on me. Goddess I'm screwed. I don't know how I could've even thought about denying the mate bond. It's impossible.

"I'll head down to the kitchen, and get a head start on breakfast. Do you remember your way to the kitchen?" He asked.

"Yeah, I think so."

"It's on the ground floor, through the double doors, and it's the third door on the left." He explained.

I push out of his arms and get out of the bed. "Thank you." I say before heading to the bathroom. I remember what Henry said and I check the cabinet, pulling out a fresh towel to use when I get out of the shower. I start running the shower to let the water heat up as I strip out of my clothes, pulling my hair out of the now messy ponytail that it was in. The shower was huge, with glass windows and a rainfall showerhead. I step under the hot water and enjoy the feeling of the water running over my body. I massage the shampoo into my roots and then rinse it out, before dumping some conditioner into my hands and running it through, concentrating on the ends. I let it sit for a couple of minutes before rinsing it out and washing my body. It smells like Henry, but I didn't mind. It was comforting. I wonder if Theodore and Oliver would have something to say about it, especially wearing his clothes. I don't want to seem like I'm picking favourites, but at the moment I am. He's treated me the best so far. All he's been is nice, but then again so has Theodore. I stay under the hot water for a little longer before stepping out and wrapping myself in the towel. You can tell that they're royals. These towels are heavenly. They're like clouds.
