I check myself over in the mirror and give myself my outfit a nod of approval. Tight jeans, and a red blouse. The neckline on the blouse cuts low, but it's modest and compliments my body. I put on a necklace that has a pearl pendant and matching earrings. I put on some light makeup and straightened my hair, making sure my bangs sit right. I glance over at the clock on the wall and smile. As nervous as I am for this date, I'm also excited and Odette is overjoyed that we're giving our mate another chance.

I slip on some plimsoles and I hear a knock on the door. I turn to face the door.

"Come in."

The door opens and Oliver steps in with his hands behind his back. He's wearing a pair of jeans and a light blue polo shirt. His eyes land on me and he grins. I swear I could hear his breath hitch.

"You look absolutely stunning, Love." He smiles. He pulls his hands from behind his back and presents me with a bouquet of flowers. Aster, pink camellia, red chrysanthemums, red roses and baby's breath. I know flower language, and this screams of a declaration of love. I smile and take the bouquet from him.

"Thank you." I glance up at him before looking down at the bouquet in my hands. "Aster... a symbol of love. Camellia, specifically pink... a symbol of longing. Red chrysanthemums and roses... 'I love you' and baby's breath... a symbol of everlasting love. If I didn't know any better, Ollie, I'd think you were trying to tell me something." I joke, a playful glint in my eyes.

He chuckles. "I see that you're familiar with flower language." He smirks, matching my playful tone.

"You're absolutely correct, your majesty." I respond, a smirk tugging at the corner of my lips.

"Well, looks like I've been caught red handed. Are you ready to go?" He chuckles.

"Let me put these in the sink, in some water." He nods and I disappear into the bathroom to let the flowers sit in some water in the sink. If I get any more flowers, my room is going to begin looking like a florist shop, but I am grateful. I absolutely adore flowers. They're simple things to give to someone, but they breathe life into a room. It's a small touch. I emerge from the bathroom with a smile. Oliver offers me his hand and I take it.

"So, what's the plan for this evening?" I ask as we head downstairs.

"That's for me to know, and you to find out, Love. I told you it's a surprise." He grins.

I groan and roll my eyes playfully. "I hate surprises, but I'll go along with it." I chuckle.

Oliver opens the door and we head outside. His hand re-joins mine and he leads me over to the forest. The sparks from his touch are vibrating up my arm. It's soothing any nerves or apprehension that I have about the next couple of hours. We walk for a while, chatting idly about our day, before we come to a clearing.

There was a blanket and some pillows laid out in the clearing, surrounded by some lanterns hanging from the trees, and fairy lights strung up. I let out a small gasp. I notice the food and wine set up to the side. There was also a projector screen hung up all set up.

"Ollie." I say looking up at him. "This is beautiful."

"I can't say I did everything." He chuckles. "Henry helped me out with it." He says, scratching the back of his neck.

I let out a soft chuckle, and lean up to press a kiss to his cheek. "It's perfect, thank you. I don't usually like surprises, but this was worth waiting for."

He smiles. "I'm glad you like it, Love. Come on. There's a bottle of wine that's got our names on, and a film waiting for us." He says, wrapping his arm around my waist to guide me over to the blanket. We sit down on the blanket and Oliver pours us both a glass of wine.
