Unhooking her arm from Giyu's, Nagano rose her hands over her head giving a big stretch, the dark orange skies of the sunset had slowly begun to turn a dark shade of orange. There would only be perhaps two more hours left in the day before the night would arrive. In her mind, that had felt like a good bit of time to speak with Kagaya and go home to relax.

Along the side roads on the way to the headquarters, two familiar faces walked side by side deep within a conversation. Granted, it had mostly been one doing the majority of the talking while the other silently listened to the other with an amused smile on her face. Mitsuri and Shinobu. The two of them did not take long to take notice of the pair walking their way, seeing the two of them Mitsuri's face had lit up like a christmas tree as she grinned widely. Shinobu had given a pleasant hello, smiling pleasantly. Bounding forwards, Mitsuri laughed in delight as she made contact with Nobara, enveloping her into a tight hug and twirled back and forth.

"Nobara you're back! It's so good to see you!" She shouted as she pressed the side of her face against Nobara's.

Laughing, Nobara winced at the shouting right beside her ear and gave a small tap on her shoulder, "it's good to see you as well Mitsuri, I see you haven't changed much."

"Nope!" She beamed.

"Mitsuri, it might be best if you released Nobara just a little. Might harm her hearing," Shinobu chuckled as she slowly walked to stand beside Giyu.

"Oh! I'm so sorry, I got so excited." She worriedly pulled away from her.

"You're fine," Nobara patted her shoulder once more, "It just caught me off guard. I'm happy to see you as well, and you too Shinobu, it's been too long." She angled her head to look past Mitsuri's shoulder to give Shinobu a grinning smile.

"It's been good to see you as well, I hope you'll be staying long?" She asked.

"For as long as you'll have me, other than the occasional mission of course." Nobara nodded, Mitsuri had pulled away though still held onto her arms lightly as the group of them talked.

"Excellent!" Mitsuri grinned, "Shinobu and I were on our way to a new noodle shop they made in the west side of town if you two would like to join?"

"I thought you two left long ago, it's been several hours since I went to pick up Nagano?" Giyu turned to Shinobu.

"We were, then Mitsuri got excited to see her back in town and wanted to wait until you two got back, that's when we found the noodle shop." Shinobu explained.

While Nagano would be more than happy to join in and try out the new shop, there were still the questions she needed to ask Oyakata-sama. Sure she could push them off till tomorrow or the next few days since she wasn't going anywhere, but it'd naw at her. Her impatience would get the better of her and the thought of those questions would continue to rattle around in her brain until she quickly got that all taken care of.

"I'd like to, though sadly I'm busy for the remainder of the night." Nagano winced.

"Awww how come? You just got here, how can you be so busy??" Mitsuri huffed.

"There's some things I need to talk with Oyakata-sama about, if I don't he'll gnaw on the back of my mind." Nagano attempted explaining.

"About your placement as Hashira?" Shinobu turned to her curiously.

"Yes," she nodded.

"Why does it bother you so much? Many slayers would see it as an honor or a valuable opportunity to become a Hashira." She tilted her head in confusion.
