Nagano paid no attention to the sudden stiffness of their lord in that moment, her only concern at that moment had been what had become of her. What she was to be now. Not only had she'd been turned into a demon, but she had tasted human flesh and turned into an upper moon. A part of her wondered if the other slayers would forgive her like they did Nezuko if she told them that she hadn't eaten the body on purpose, but had been forced to. Would they believe her? Her hand twitched in worry at the thought of it. They were in desperate times at the moment, there was a high possibility that they would if she was just a regular demon. But an upper moon? The very ones that each of them constantly kept an eye out for and killed on sight? There was no way they'd forgive her, the danger would be too high. She wouldn't doubt that they'd assume even quicker that her allegiance was to their lord now. She gripped her hands tightly into fists, her new nails now digging into her flesh. Opening her palm, she watched the red blood slowly spill out of her palm. That was right, there was a new level of strength for her to account for. She wondered then if she could still do her breathing forms as a demon, or would they no longer be an option for her.
The sharp breath intake from their lord caught her attention. Turning her attention upwards, she watched as the Lord of Demons stumbled, his hand covering his mouth as his eyes widened in surprise. She hadn't been the only one watching, in the corner of her eyes she watched as Akaza's attention and the two others had pulled to their Master. Something had happened. Something big. He had a minor reaction in the middle of her turning to other Upper Moons dying, but this, something else must have happened. Pushing herself slowly away from him, she gathered herself and stood up.
Reigning himself in, their Lord closed his eyes letting out a slow even breath. The same blank calm look returned as he opened his eyes, his gaze turning to each of them for a brief moment. "You are to all cease looking for the Spider Lily,"
"For what reason, my Lord Muzan?" The blonde demon leaned forwards. "I know it has been long since we began our search and it has been fruitless, but is this not what you require?"
Nagano tilted her head to look at him, the look on his face sickened her. A look of a man willing to do anything to please him. Was it insanity? Or was there an ulterior motive behind his actions? She scrunched her nose at the demon. As she turned back to look at their lord, she noticed for a split second the eyes that had been on her, Akaza's. Quickly averting her lingering eyes, she looked back to the Lord. At the very least, she had learned something. His name. Perhaps there were benefits to this? Though she'd have to tread carefully. After feeling a portion of his power just by holding her down, he was not someone to foolishly poke and prod for information. She'd have to be cautious and let the information come organically. If she had done otherwise, there was no telling how quickly he'd find out. The other thing that had sparked her curiosity was the talk of the Blue Spider Lily. For what reason had he made them search for said flower? He hadn't seemed like the type of man to make idle mistakes or do things without valid reason, there had to be some importance to said flower.
"Because there is something else that is much more important that I need all of you to do." Muzan drawled.
"What are we to do for you then?"
"You are to look for the Kamado siblings and bring the girl to me."
"For what reason? I thought we were to kill them?" The blond demon tilted his head, Nagano's full attention now turned to Muzan.
"The sister seems to have conquered the sun, and I need her." Their Lord replied flatly without explaining anything else he had planned for her, sweet and simple and to the point. Only giving enough information that he felt enough for them.
