The pain was the first thing Nagano felt, the aching feeling that seeped through her muscles and into her joints. The soft surroundings were the second. Where was she? And god why was she in so much pain. Her entire body felt as though she had been grounded through a yagen remedy grinder, the tension of the muscles screamed in agony. Could she move? With her eyes still shut, Nagano gently wiggled her fingers, by the grace of the heavens, her body responded. She wasn't immobile. So that answered that question.

The next one she had wondered to herself was where she was currently. The sun had begun to shine onto her face, so that cued that it was day time. So she was safe. At least from demons. Narrowing her eyebrows, she slowly opened her eyes. The first she noticed wasn't the sky, it had been a white ceiling. Rays of sunlight drifted into the room as small particles of dust danced around in the air. She was inside somewhere.

She had been able to move her fingers so surely the rest should be capable of moving. Grunting in pain, Nagano pulled her arms inward, it was possible but the aching throbs begged her to stop. It had taken a few minutes to sit herself up, there had been a couple times her arms had wobbled, nearly losing their strength that would have caused her to fall. In the end she made it into a sitting position. Now fully sitting up, she had finally been able to see her surroundings fully, by the looks of it she had been in the infirmary back at headquarters. She narrowed her eyes in confusion. When did she get back?

She hadn't remembered coming back at all last night, heck, the last thing she remembered was... She pondered to herself wondering. The grogginess had slowed her memory, but it had come back. Her eyebrows raised in recognition as it did. She had been in a fist fight sparring match with a demon... And lived?

Her gaze turned to her arms to examine them for any possible broken limbs. Thankfully, there had been none. Though the deep bluish purple bruises lined her arms instead. So much for not harming women. She puffed her cheeks in annoyance. Now to see where else she was wounded. The needle pricking pain at the back of her head signaled that there was

Her arm had been halfway to check her stomach or ribs since that had been one of the common places where his kicks landed when the sound of a gasp paused her hand. Turning her head surprised as she looked to the door, a little girl with pulled back hair in two pigtails with blue butterflies wearing a white dress with a blue sash around the waist stood in the doorway. She remembered the name of this little girl, Sumi Nakahara.

So that meant she was in the butterfly mansion.

"You're awake!" Sumi exclaimed excitedly, her hands hovered over her mouth. "We were so worried when you were found near the gates. Giyu will definitely be pleased! He was worried."

"Seems so," Nagano nodded, "where is Giyu?"

"He's on a mission currently, but should be back soon," she nodded eagerly. "I'll have to let Aoi know you're awake! She's been up to her ears in work." She sighed.

"What's happened?" Nagano worriedly leaned forward, a piercing pain in her abdomen screamed in response. Hissing in pain, she reached for her abdomen. Was a rib broken?

"Everything is fine!" Sumi raised her hands, "Tengen and his group returned from their mission while you were asleep. The boys are in a coma, but Tengen and his wives are ok and awake."

Letting out a slow breath of relief, she kept her hand lightly resting on her stomach. "Could I go see him?" She asked.

"You should probably still rest," she recommended, her hands clasped together as she held it against her chest.

Tilting her head, she slowly rolled her shoulders. There was still an aching pain in her body, but not anything that could be just ignored. She wanted to see Tengen, it had been a while since she had talked with her friend, and she wanted to see how his wives had been doing after returning from the rescue mission.
