Temporary Hiatus

For the past 2 weeks, I have been trying to push myself to write out the next chapter for this fanfic, and every time I try, my desire to write just plummets. I know very well it isn't writers block or anything, since I am perfectly capable of plotting out stuff for my gojo x oc fanfic. Yet with this one, even though I am working on the 8th chapter, it hasn't stuck to me emotionally like the other has. I don't feel as invested in the story creation as the other.

The idea was nice at first thought when one creates a backstory for an insert character for an anime/show/game that you like, but hers currently is not fully fleshed out to my liking to where it fits with the story. there's no extra plot that in store for her. A vast majority of things that do happen are very late in the story, and at the pace I'm at this will be a very very very short fanfic. And I don't like writing short fanfics. I like long novel like ones. And currently, Nagano's story is not really pulling me.

It also doesn't help that my time is also spent on being a dungeon master for a homebrew once a week, working on a comic for that said homebrew, work, art commissions, and writing the other fic that when it comes down to writing this one it becomes a pain, and almost a chore. Which really sucks, because I was really excited to rewrite this fic.

I'm not entirely scrapping this fanfic. I do want to eventually do it. I just think it would be best to wait until my busy schedule has loosened and I won't be as busy. And I know very well that I will be doubly busy in the coming months when I finally start uploading the D&D webcomic, so there will be a time need for that. More than likely I'm going to spend this time working on the other fanfic and properly fleshing out the rest of this fic. Hell, I barely have any chapters summarized for this fanfic in comparison to the other one ^^' I do hope those that have enjoyed this story so far understand, and are patient with me as I work on other projects and come back to this one in the future. I adore writing, along with drawing, it is my passion, it's why I love DM'ing so darn much :D but for me to be able to properly write something, I need to be interested and invested in the plot/story, otherwise it comes off too speedily written and I have mistakes left and right. Or I jump right over what I wanted to write out for that section and have to go back in and rewrite it differently, and that can become a pain.
