"If we're living the dream, I hope we never wake up"

Third person POV
A small green haired kid approached the playground, holding his mother's hand tightly. They walked over to a brown wooden bench where a blonde woman and little boy sat. They were bickering with each other over a new movie. The greenette caught the blonde's attention as she smiled and patted the seat next to her.

"Hello Mitsuki, long time no see." The green haired woman greeted the blonde as she sat down next to her.

"Hi Inko!" The blonde greeted as the green haired woman smiled in response.

"I haven't seen you in forever, how have you been?" The blonde pulled Inko into a hug as the two little boys stood on opposite sides of the benches.

"Aw, is that little Katsuki?" Inko cooed at the small boy who seemed startled at the strange woman knowing his name.

"Yes, he is becoming more of brat the older he gets." Mitsuki complained and Inko laughed in response as she felt a finger squeeze her hand.

"That must be little Izuku, he's grown so much." Mitsuki looked at the small timid boy, who was hiding behind his mother.

"Yes, he is a rather shy boy." Inko says as she looks at her son and sighs. "Maybe our kids would like to play together?"

"Of course! That sounds great." The blonde said excitedly as she held Katsuki's hand and stood up as Inko held Izuku's hand and stood up. Katsuki stared at the woman in front of him in amazement as Izuku was still hiding behind his mother.

"Izuku, sweetie, why don't you come and meet Katsuki. Maybe you guys can play together?" Inko said softly as she turned around to face her son.

"B-But- Mommy, d-d-don't leave me." The small boy started to cry as the green haired woman kneeled down in front of him.

"I would never leave you, sweet boy." The young boy stopped crying and looked up at his mother and hugged her tightly.

"Now, this is Katsuki." Inko says as she helped move Izuku to stand in front of her, still holding his hand.

"H-Hi." The green haired little boy mumbled out softly. The tears dried from his face as he stared at the kid in front of him.

"Hi." The blonde kid said in a more annoyed tone.

"Brat, you better be nice to him." The woman scolded her son who rolled his eyes and stuck out his tongue.

"Cmon Izu, let's go play." Katsuki grumbled as he grabbed the smaller boy's hand and sprinted to the playground.

"Well, I think that worked out." The green haired woman sighed as she sat down once again with her friend.

"So how is your daughter doing?" Inko asked the blonde politely.

"Oh, she's so sweet. She didn't feel like coming today, so, she went shopping with her father." Mitsuki explained to her friend as she nodded with a smile.

"Although, the two of them can hardly stand each other, even though they're twins." Mitsuki rolled her eyes and Inko softly laughed.

"I'm sure they'll grow out of it, all siblings do at one point." Inko said honestly with a smile as Mitsuki nodded in response.

"Hopefully some of Aku's good nature will rub off on Katsuki. He's always getting into trouble." The blonde says with a heavy sigh as she receives a pat on the shoulder from the woman sitting next to her.

"I'm sure he'll grow out of that phase too. And besides, at least he and Izuku are getting along." Inko pointed out while Mitsuki simply hummed. The two boys were running around the playground playing tag with several other children. There was giggling and yelling all around the mulched area before a small thud was heard, followed by a muffled cry. Izuku had tripped and fallen onto the ground, scraping his knee in the process.
