"I'd rather you walk all over me than walk away
Give me the worst of you
'Cause I want you anyway"

Izuku POV
The next year brought the same troubles into my path. Although it seemed to get even worse for me as the year progressed. My bullies became more and more determined to make my life a living hell. And the amount of scars on my body just continued to grow.

"So this nerd still hasn't given up yet, huh?" Kacchan said as he stared down at me. I felt a lump appear in my throat as his two friends stared daggers at me. I stayed silent this time which only seemed to anger them more.

"Answer me!" He yelled as he pushed me against the wall.

"Do you still seriously think you have a chance of being a hero, well think again Deku." He then rolls his eyes at me before walking away. I then hesitantly finished walking to class and sat down at my desk with a sigh.

I hold my head low to avoid any more problems for myself as the morning bell rings for classes to begin. My teacher started talking about plans after graduation as kids start chattering happily about their goals in life. I couldn't help but feel sad. Even though it's my third year of middle school, I still had no one who believed in me and worse no one to talk to about it.

I then start to nervously pick at the scabs on my arm, feeling a slight trace of blood on my fingers. The newest scars from this morning haven't even dried yet, but I don't care anymore.

"And let's be honest, you all have dreams of being heroes." The teacher said as he throws the career sheets in the air and everyone cheers. Kids start showing off their quirks as excitement fills the room.

"I have two kids who have listed their primarily choice of schooling to be UA." He says next. My eyes widen as I feel a silence enter the room. I gulp loudly as the teacher then announces the names.

"Bakugou and Midoriya." I then feel eyes staring daggers at me as I hide my head on my desk.

"There's no way that kid can get in, he's quirkless." I hear a voice say.

"Actually they changed that rule." I say timidly.

"So you think you can go to the school with the best of the best, you'd die in the exams!" Kacchan yelled out loudly as a few kids snickered.

"I'm the only worthy one from this crappy school to go to UA." He says as he gets up and stands in front of my desk. I clench my teeth as the bell rings and kids quickly rush out of the room.

"So don't even think of applying, or else." He says with a sinister smile on his face as he places a burning hand on my shoulder. I don't even think of moving as his two goons surround me next.

"How pathetic." One of them says with a laugh. I feel embarrassed as I stare at the floor. Then I feel a hand in my backpack as something is lifted out.

"The hell is this?" The black haired kid says as he pulls out my notebook No. 13. My breath hitched as my eyes widen. I start reaching out trying to grab it from his hands but I am are no match for him.

"Let me see that shit." Kacchan says as he rips it out of his hands. He opens it as I feel my face heat up in embarrassment.

"Tips for being a Pro-Hero, what the fuck is this? You seriously think this is what it takes to get into UA. Some stupid nerd notebooks?" He laughs at me as he burns the notebook and throws it out the window.

I stare widely at him as I start to feel tears in my eyes.

"You wouldn't last one minute as a hero, you would be killed almost instantly. And that's not helpful to anyone else don't you know. You'd be ultimately useless in the field." He whispers to me as I hold my head low in shame.
