Izuku POV
"KIRI AND KATSUKI ARE DATING?" Aku screamed as Mina sighed. I can't say I'm any less surprised. But something about my girlfriend's reaction is...off? I wonder why she cares so much about who her brother is dating.

"That's surprising." I respond calmly.

"Well, that's the truth." Mina seems nervous. "What do you think of it Midobabe?" Why's she asking me?

"I don't know, it's a bit shocking but I guess that's how life is." I say with a shoulder shrug. She facepalms before walking away. Strange, but I guess that's usual for her.

"Babeeee." Aku starts pulling on my arm.

"What's up?" I turn to look at her.

"You wanna go shopping?" She says with a smile.

"When do I ever want to go shopping?" I laugh. She frowns at my response as I sigh.

"Fine." I hesitantly agree.

"Yay!" She says excitedly. She drags me out of the common room and to the mall.

"What about this one?" Aku says as she twirls around in the hundred dress of the day. I let out a sigh as I fake smile at her.

"Looks great." I say unenthusiastically. It does, I'm just so bored I don't care anymore.

"Babe! You said that about the last one." She scolds me as I roll my eyes.

"Sorry, can we do something else? Lately the only dates we've been on is shopping and even then it's only you shopping. Why can't we do something we both like for once?" I say as she frowns at me.

"But I want to shop, why can't you just support me?" I clench my teeth as she starts to cry. I quickly get up to comfort her and pull her into a hug.

"Hey, hey, it's okay." I whisper softly as she holds me tightly. "I'm sorry, shopping is fine."

"Thanks babe." She whispers back. She then goes back to her preppy attitude as she goes back into the dressing room.

My phone suddenly starts to ring so I pull it out of my pocket to answer. I check the caller ID: Ochako. I wonder why she's calling me?

"Ocha?" I answer.

"Hey Deku, we need to talk." She says bluntly.

"I'm out with Aku right now, I can come over after?" I then hear some indistinctive whispering in the background.

"It's kinda urgent." She replies in an anxious voice which worries me.

"Are you okay?" I whisper as to avoid my girlfriend hearing.

"I'm fine but have you heard about Bakugou and Kirishima?" She asks. Why is everyone asking me about that?

"Yeah, Mina told me earlier. What about it?" I ask her, confused.

"Don't you care that he's dating Kiri?" She sounds almost surprised at my relaxed tone.

"It's none of my business, why should I care?" And with that I hear the slamming of the door and some retracting footsteps.

"What was that?" I ask my best friend in a worried tone.
