Me and my boyfriend Connor were at a bookstore, browsing through the shelves, when I decided to play a little prank on him by giving him the silent treatment.
I pretended not to notice him as I walked around, looking at books.
In the corner of my eye, I saw Connor starting to notice.
"Princess, what's going on? Why are you ignoring me?" He said looking curious.
I continued to stay silent, a mischievous smile playing on my lips.
He tried to get my attention by waving his hand in front of my face.
"Come on Y/n, don't be like this. What did I do?"
I kept the act, pretending to be completely engrossed in a book.
"Okay, you leave me no choice. I'm going to have to do something to get your attention."
He walked over to a nearby book shelf and grabbed a book, flipping through the pages. Suddenly, he started reading out loud in a funny voice, hoping to make me crack.
"Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there was a stubborn person named Y/n who loved pranks..."
I couldn't help but giggle at his antics, finally giving in and breaking the silent treatment.
"Okay, okay, you win! I couldn't resist your silly storytelling. What do you want?" I said still laughing at his action
Connor grinned triumphantly, happy to have finally caught my attention.
"All I wanted was to see that beautiful smile of yours. Pranks and all, you're still the best." He smiled coming towards me.
I playfully rolled my eyes, nudging his shoulder, but deep down I couldn't help but feel a warmth in my heart.
Me and Connor would always find a way to have fun together.
