Get ready for some Second + Green adventures!

Nah, that's not really a thing. :|

Anyway, I hope you like it because, as you can tell, I'm terrible at description -- and I really tried my best to do it here :'|

Argh.

~~~
Second and Green marveled at the sight of vines growing around the trees around them. It was almost like they were in a real jungle, vines draping around them everywhere they go. They had to go about the place carefully, for roots, rocks, branches, and all kinds of things were littered on the ground before them in such a natural way.
They could trip easily on such a floor.
They continued quietly, looking around at each and every tree they saw. That is, until Second stopped and Green almost walked into him.
"What's wrong?" Green asked, moving aside just in time so that he wouldn't crash into Second. Second didn't reply -- he seemed to be listening very hard for something.
Green stayed silent too, also listening for whatever it was that Second might've heard. But the place was completely silent.
"Second-" Green started, but he was cut off by Second, who shushed him to stay quiet. He fell silent once more, watching Second in curiosity.
The two of them continued to stay quiet, listening for who knows what, until Second finally began to move forward once more with much more vigor in his step. Green followed him uncertainly, but he knew that there must be a reason why Second was so determined. They trudged along the path for a bit more until Second completely walked off of it.
Alarmed, Green called out to him. "Second! You're going off the track."
But Second ignored him, still walking ahead like he was mesmerized by something. Concerned, Green tried to catch up to him while watching his own step, seeing as there were many things to dodge in such a forest.
The two continued on until Second finally came to a stop. Green caught up, panting, and looked up. He was about to say something, but he stopped, his eyes widening in shock.
A beautiful waterfall. Right in front of them. The moving water was what Second had heard. With every wave of water falling into the lake below from the waterfall, a splash would happen, bringing with it a rainbow of colors that lasted for only a few seconds.
It was truly amazing.
Second smiled at Green. "A nice sight to see, isn't it?"
Green nodded, not knowing what else to say. He took out his phone, snapping a few pictures. After each one, he'd look at it and shake his head, muttering something before trying to take a better photo.
Second scoffed. "Perfectionist."
Green pretended not to notice, continuing to take pictures that seemed fine. Second did the same, also taking a few photos. Once he was done, he laughed, turning to Green. "The others are sure to be jealous once they see this."
Green nodded without actually listening to him, taking one last photo of the waterfall. In the end, Second had to grab his arm and drag him away from the waterfall, despite his protests.
The two continued on the path once they found it once more, and after having found the hidden waterfall, the rest of the walk seemed boring in comparison.
Green sighed, wanting something interesting to happen. He stopped, looking up at the trees and crossing his arms. Second noticed, and he stopped too. They both looked up to the sky, relishing the peaceful moment.
Green broke the silence after a while, saying. "So...what time is it, Second?"
But he didn't wait for an answer, and Second didn't give him one. They continued to watch the sky as the white, fluffy clouds moved across, and as one particular one passed by, a ray of sunlight landed in the general area where Green and Second stood.
Green smiled, and he could tell that Second was doing the same.
As he looked down, a sudden glint caught his eye, and he whipped his head over in the direction of it. There, hidden between branches and many vines was a rope. Second and Green exchanged a glance, then they both walked toward it. Upon walking closer, they found out that it wasn't just a rope, but instead a rope ladder. It led up the side of a tall tree.
Green reached out, about to start climbing, but Second placed a hand on his shoulder, stopping him. "We don't know if this is safe...and we've only got about five minutes left to report back. Let's go."
Green looked at him, then back at the rope ladder. Sighing, he nodded, following after Second as they made their way out of the 'forest' and back toward the place they came from at first just as 1:59 turned to 2.
If only they'd gone closer. They'd have found something bigger. Something darker. Something that can explain a few things that they don't even realize they have questions for.
If only they'd climbed. If only they continued...
Alright. Shorter chapters coming up! I've decided that chapters around 1000 words is a bit too long :)
I'll write some more of those type of chapters, but sometimes I'll write chapters as short as this too for the sake of your eyesight. :|
Word Count: 803 words
Sorry for the cringy ending :|
