Hope this chapter would make up for the slightly short one last time :)

Purple surveyed the group, seeming to not be able to wipe the smile off of his face. He was excited, after all -- this would be the first time he did something like what he had always dreamed of doing, and he could only hope that everything goes to plan.

But that would be hard, he thought as he watched Yellow and Red having to pull Blue and Green along the path. His smile faltered, but his spirits were still up.

"Alrighty....uh..." He sent a glance over at Second, who just shrugged. Shrugging back, Purple looked at the others. "We'll be taking a little hike...I'm sure that both Green and Blue like this activity...and afterwards would be a surprise!"

He looked at Yellow, then Red, then at Second, his expression hopeful. Of course, he hadn't mentioned the surprise part, and when he made eye contact with Second, he wasn't too surprised to see a suspicious look over his features.

Brushing the uncomfortable feeling of Second watching him off, Purple turned back to the others excitedly.

"C'mon -- we don't have all of the afternoon for this trip."

He turned, about to start walking, but Red called after him. "Wait! Can't you take Green? He's not-"

Purple turned, catching sight of Red just in time to see him trip onto the ground after trying to pull Green along the trail. Purple furrowed his brow, walking toward the two.

"You guys can go...I'll take Green..." Purple muttered.

Red immediately hopped to his feet, speeding up along the trail. Second followed him slowly, as if already bored. Yellow and Blue followed right after them, and after some struggle, Purple was able to get Green to follow too.

At the front, Red was trying to jump as he ran, trying to grab onto the overhanging branches above. His third try was very close -- the branch was right there. As he did this, he wasn't paying attention to where he was going -- how could he? -- and he almost tripped along the way because of a random crack in the trail.

Then he stopped, pausing to listen.

You may think he was trying to see how far he had gotten from his friends, but no, that wasn't the case.

In fact, he began to run right away without sparing his friends a single thought. His focus couldn't be penetrated now -- there was a little, furry, cute rabbit that needed some petting at the moment!

Meanwhile, as Red continued having his own fun, the rest of the group lagged behind, being smart enough to stick together. Second walked in the front, Yellow, Blue, Purple, and Green right behind him, following him closely. They didn't bother trying to catch up to Red -- which confused Purple.

He didn't know too much about his friends, so he wasn't too surprised to see that they seemed to know something about Red that he clearly didn't. Perhaps they knew Red would come back.

So he decided not to let Red's sudden departure worry him and just continued to lead Green up the trail.

The trail Purple had picked was quite relaxing -- the whole reason why he had chosen it. A soft breeze brushed against them, and overall, everything was quite calming to them. Two people as traumatized as Blue and Green would probably need something like this. Purple would know -- he understood how it was to be in a loud, uncomfortable situation. It could really get on your nerves sometimes.

Suddenly, a tug made Purple come to a stop. He turned, knowing immediately that it was because of Green. Green was looking at him once more, surprisingly, and he was pointing at something.
